Will it make me beautiful? Or should I just pre-order COD: MWIII?

    • +2

      Noooooo & yes

    • +38

The key to being beautiful is to have self-confidence. If destroying noobs and talking smack in COD give you confidence then you should embrace that.

      • These days you have to register with a phone number, so you get called and disciplined if you talk too much smack.

      • +6

I don't understand those games. As a noob I log in and all I hear is about the unspeakable things they have done to my mother. Is that the whole game?

    • +16

Friends don't let friends pre order.

But I find you more attractive with mw3

    • +3

Pwning noobs like a Hugo Boss is beautiful….so yes.

  • +17

Last years went up to $150 and it's the first year they didn't sell out. They even gave them away mid year with beauty purchases, then they gave a $30 credit as one of the items expired.
Last year I purchased one and it wasn't worth the cost in my opinion. The ASOS one and the Costco one on the other hand was worth it.
Still waiting for discount codes for these.

    • +7

      There’s a Costco one?

      • +4

        Need sauce as well

      • There was last year , then in November they discounted it to $75 for one weekend.

  • +4

The missus has had these in 2020, 2021 and 2022

    She loves them

    Ordered the 2023

    Nice gift for someone special

    • +9

Yep! Getting one for my HS teacher Miss Adams.

Short by $10 - just waiting for my allowances to come through tomorrow.

      • +13

I guess you did a lot of after school study

        • +1

    • +2

    • +7

If anyone wants to see what’s included

    • +5

The item page already lists exactly what's included

  • +5

Said this on the previous post, it probably makes for a nice gift set but doesn't seem like something someone would purchase for themselves. It's basically buying a set of product samples.

Jack Black All Over face wash

Say what? THE Jack Black is peddling cosmetics? That can't be good…

        • +1

          you don't know jack….

  • +18

$100 for 5ml to 30ml samples - no thanks. Rather buy her normal sized perfume one she actually likes

  • +2

The Missus loves a good advent calendar and this will be perfect. Thanks OP!

  • +2

    Looks slike trials and samples.

    • It is what a advent calander is

      • +1

Not in the traditional sense it isn't

Buying this is like buying a daily advertisement.

        • +2

Imagine participating in the beauty routine and thinking you're not affected by the advertisement…..

  • RRP $500 - 80% discount.. woah..

    • take that RRP with a massive massive grain of salt. decent value but nothing like $500 worth.

  • +2

    Klairs cream is $43.50
MOR Boutique Emporium Classics Wild Sage Hand Cream, 100ml is $28.95
OGX Thick & Full Biotin & Collagen Volumizing Weightless Oil Mist, 118 ml is $15

So you are paying $13 for the rest of the 22 items if you wanted those 3….

    • +4

      Keep going…

  • The question remains… is it worth buying for your partner?

    • +1

Are there no women on ozbargain to answer the sea of clueless men? If we buy this for our wife will she be happy or mad??

      • I’d be happy to receive this, can’t speak for your wife though.

    • +2

Just had an interview: My partner said she would not buy those 'samples' (products that she does not want to buy) unless they are less than $25. Even a single TF lipstick/eyeshadow or a 30mL Jo Malone perfume could be a better gift.
      Just a very personal response.

    • +2

Don't think my husband would appreciate it. 😆

    • Probably, if your partner is into trying skincare etc. I would prob be happy to receive it as a gift but wouldn't buy it for myself - too many products I probably won't buy or have no use for.

  • +3

The Hugo Boss fragrance is seemingly marketed to men, as is the Jack Black cleanser. Weird selection of products.

  • This for boy or girl?

  • Is that a pirelli calendar?

  • +4

I buy these beauty advent calendars for my now 16 year old daughter. Samples are perfect as she loves to try anything she can get her hands on. I think these are perfect as teenage gifts more so than for wives who already have a set of preferred brands and products

  • Anyone added the value of this up? Mecca gives free samples all the time.

    • +2

Yeah but it's a literal pilgrimage for click and collect

  • Oos

  • Price dropped down to $86.51 now for anyone that pre-ordered at $100 earlier.

  • Does anyone received it?
