I bought a cheap robot vacuum from fb marketplace for $10. Nothing fancy (no app, no mapping etc) but works for me as I do not have carpet. Saves me a lot of time.
Ecovacs Deebot X1 Turbo seems to be same price as Dreame Robot Vacuum & Mop L10 Prime.
Wondering which one is better value for money?
the x1 seems to have 1000pa more suction with an additional brush. 2 year warranty on the deebot too. Dreame warranty a little unclear (me lazy)
The only thing I might say (and has made me hesitate with Ecovacs) are the quite frequent comments on how bad the app is. Whereas the Dreame uses the Xiaomi app (i.e. same as Roborock), which I've found to be quite good.
Having just gotten the L10 Prime now, I should probably correct myself in case some one else come across this comment doing research. Turns out Dreame now have and use their own app - works very similarly to the Xiaomi app (which was used for when I had the W10), and seems fine so far…
I have been considering these 2 over the last 2 days as well. The X1 Turbo doesn't auto lift the mopping heads over carpet so you will need to do 2 passes if you have carper or rugs. The benefits over L10 Prime is more suction power and camera (gimmick but could work as extra security camera i guess).
I am leaning towards waiting for T20 Omni or L10s Ultra to go further down which has auto-lift mop and auto-dust bin clearing.
Good Guys Commercial has T20 Omni for $1317 but wondering if it will reduce further with the new X2 Omni and L20 Ultra just being released?
no mop lifting is a dealbreaker on the X1 for me. I don't want to have to pull it out of the dock and remove the mops in order to clean carpet.
I purchased the Ecovacs t20 omni lasted 2 weeks and got my money back app was woeful constant crashes terrible mapping and 0 tech support ( which actually assisted in receiving full refund from jb hi fi) Replaced with Roborock q revo and seems light years ahead no complaints.
Are these any good? I can't seem to find any reviews.
If you're talking about the L10 Prime, I think it's called the L10 Ultra outside of our region. Otherwise plenty of reviews on YouTube.
Nah, the L10 Prime is not the same as the L10 (non-S) Ultra. The L10 Prime is the updated W10, which whilst it has auto-mop clean, it does does not have auto-empty dust (which both L10 Ultra and L10s Ultra have) or auto cleaning solution (that the L10s ultra has).
The main/only update that I can tell between the last gen W10 and the L10 Prime, is that the L10 Prime will now lift up the mops when carpet is detected (which the W10 did not). The older W10 also looks better in battery (6,400mAh vs 5,200mAh) and base water tanks storage (combined clean/used as ~8L vs ~5L). Suction for both W10 and L10 Prime look to be 4000Pa (vs the 5,300 of the L10s Ultra).
It looks like the L10 prime robot might be the same as the L10 ultra, with mostly the docks being different?
How do the Dreame vacuums go with navigation? Read the Roborocks are good for not bumping into things but not sure how good these are

PSA: I ordered a Dreame Z10 Pro last year and the customer service was - pardon my language - utterly shite.
It took 6+ months for them to take my warranty claim seriously and finally issue a replacement.
Can the Dreame be rooted to have its firmware replaced with something like Valetudo?
Yes, technically. I just watched a Defcon 2023 video on YT where Dreame & Roborock were the main focus. But, I think they mentioned that manufacturers have started adding cpu fuses that would essentially brick the board if they detect tampering.

Yep, I just ordered an L10s. My wife and I really prefer not to mop or vacuum unless necessary.
I've been looking at a vacuum/mop combo for last several months to replace our gen 1 Xiaomi robot vac (still going strong!).
L10s does everything we need it to do in terms of functionality. We can live without the 'edge vacuum' functionality and auto-empty/fill of the L20 for a much better price point.
The L10s Ultra is no longer available at $1499. I had added it to my cart at that price, but checkout failed with no longer available.

I bought the l10s on prime day and they have now cancelled my order due to "lack of availbility". But I can still buy the l10s on Amazon - at full price! Soooo frustrating!
Update: After complaning to Amazon they have said if I reorder they will refund the difference once received.

Can ozbargain punish brands that do not honour discounts? Like ban their 'deals'. Maybe it just has to be part of collective memory for next time. I note on the amazon page other customers with similar observations of unethical business practices.
Bought a L10s on the 10th and still not yet shipped. The solution Amazon provided to me was to cancel my order and place another order, with them crediting the difference as a gift card for later use. I don't see how placing another order was going to solve the problem of the order not yet being shipped out.
I also asked why they couldn't just apply the credit immediately as I didn't want $1000 of Amazon credit sitting around and they told me that wasn't possible. So here I am stuck waiting for the order.
Ahh missed it.. at $1499 I would snap this up!
Though it sounds like they are having inventory problems since this sale.
And I don't think I have the patience to wait for the next one, will probably just opt for the cheaper Q Revo.
