I heard someone say that these should be better than all the Chi-Fi stuff in this range. I just sold my Letshuoer S12 so in the market for some new 😂

Let me know what you think, should I pull the trigger or get something else?

Compare it to similar equivalent Yamaha one. Even if Yamaha is marginally expensive (up to $25ish) buy Yamaha. Otherwise buy this. In the same class almost always Yamaha is better regardless of price. In rare cases Sennheiser prevails.

    • Today I listened to my first Yamaha speaker, SR-B20A, not bad at all. Cheap alternative to when you don't feel like switching on your 11 channel receiver for your wife 😂

I have no idea about Yamaha IEM. I was thinking to get something better than S12. Budget could be stretched to 300 to 400$. Considering the DAC I have is 1000$.

    • Comparing In-ear monitors to On-ear, mind as well compare Timberlands to Havaianas.

  • Not really a fair comparison. Totally different form factors.

I've had mine for a couple of months now. For the price, I recommend them. I switch between these and my zs10 pro x.

I got mine from Amazon and had to get a replacement as the the right ear has a dodgy connection so it's something to keep in mind. The cable is a bit meh and doesn't feel durable enough for my liking.

Aside from that, really enjoying the sound signature

    • How does your KZ ZS10 PRO X compre to the IE 200's? and what DAC or DAP or portable player do you use?

      • +1

The ie200 is far more balanced that's for sure. The zs10 leans closer to the low end. Because of that, I typically use the ie200 for music and the zs10 for videos. I pair them up with either my lg v50 or really old fiio Q10 dac.

Also, fwiw, I also came from an old pair of rha ma750 and the ie200 sounds better but the rha is better built.

I also have a pair of MSR7 and XM2 cans (yes apples and oranges) but I've ditched the Sony for the ie200 despite losing the ANC. No regrets (unless you're in a plane).
