[NSW] OzBargain 17th Birthday - Chatswood Meetup at Ippudo Wednesday 1 November 12-2pm

Come and celebrate OzBargain's 17th birthday at Ippudo Chatswood Wednesday 1 November 12-2pm. Ippudo is at the Interchange above Chatswood train station.

In the spirit of OzBargain, a number of ramens are $15 with free extra noodles on the first of the month, which will keep costs reasonable for Scotty.

We can grab the big middle table for OzBargainers and there are also tables on the periphery.

Please provide expression of interest for the lunch or a dinner, which someone else can arrange.

Update:

(1). (Monday 30) I spoke to the Assistant Store Manager today and she's fine with the arrangement where OzBargainers order from the $15 ramen menu and have your name ticked off from the list and then I/Scotty will pay for the group at the end. Normally you have to pay upfront at the counter or table.

We're all set to go. I'll see everyone that's registered from 12-2pm on Wednesday for OzB's 17th Birthday catchup at Chatswood.

If you've got any questions, leave a comment below and I'll answer it as best I can.

(2). (Tuesday 31) Note that you have to register and then check-in tomorrow to participate in the lunch. When you get to Ippudo, please see me first 1. to check in and 2. to get your name tag. The staff at the front desk will point you to me. If you cannot make it and have registered, then please cancel your registration.

    I prefer dinner any other day, not on Wednesday (unavailable) or lunch on Saturday/Sunday.

    I know OP can't satisfy everyone but also got to think about the people who work lol.

    Can people even mingle and eat within their 1hr lunch break?

    Hi, is the event starting at 12 or 2pm? On this page it says 12 but on the birthday meetups page it says 2pm

    I hope everyone had a great time at our lunch catch up in Chatswood celebrating OzBargain's 17th Birthday, and thank you to Scotty for sponsoring the event. We had 25 registrations, 19 check-ins and 20 meals (we missed a check in). For upcoming events, if you have registered but can't make it, can you please cancel your registration so that organizers and Scotty can get a better handle on numbers.

        Welp, I can tell you one of the no shows was me so that's a big shame - I like my "Not A Bot" badge going all back to 2013 Melbourne event, but I will have to wear this badge of shame going forward as well.

        In my defence, IRL things came up suddenly this morning beyond my control… but ultimately, it's on me because I did forget to cancel registration on this page.

        Glad everyone had a great time though!
