  • They are expensive, but they are also great.

  • Good price! I always wanted one when I first got my ipad but I wouldn't be typing anything into it

  • 29% discount on $489 seems good, but I just can’t justify it. People that have them love it would be my observation.
I will just have to continue to get by with the pencil and the virtual keyboard.

    • really depends on your use case.
you could prob get away with a logitech or similar 3rd party option (and i say this as a person with ipad pro m1 , pencil and keyboard setup)

      • The extra weight is an issue, so I would only consider the Magic Keyboard for home or work desk usage. As for other physical keyboards, its the Magic Keyboard or none!
        So none.

        • true. I use mine in the car too between meetings and then at meetings, the angle of adjustment sometimes is a bit annoying…

          • @Jimothy Wongingtons: Interesting. To me it looks like a fantastic blending of form and function that Apple can be so good at.
I have been happily using no keyboard since 2017 on a number of IPPs, so a bit hard to justify a keyboard at that price.

  • I had the Logitech version, while its good for the protection and desk use, but as soon as you use it on the lap, its quite awkward.

  • I have this for my 12.9” and use daily. Couldn’t live without. Pricey but transformed the iPad to a near laptop replacement

  • +1

I’ve wanted one but couldn’t justify the cost. Have been using the Logitech mx keys mini which does a fine job for the 20% of the time I need a real keyboard (it’s even better if paired with a iPad stand). If you use a keyboard heaps I reckon it would be perfect but if not then you’ll probably survive.
