    Tried this a couple weeks ago. The item sat at the store for four days and then they changed it to click and collect. Called and they finally delivered it. 172 hours is close to 2 hours, I guess

      Yeah similar experience here. Bought something via OnePass which had delivery confirmed for the next day. But the order didnt get processed until a few days later so all in all took 6 days for the item to arrive

        I've never had a problem on a genuine price beat. But they don't like to price match that one computer store in Brisbane while I'm in Melbourne etc. Or online stores.

          I should clarify a little. If I have a clear Price Beat from a reputable major retailer (HN / Bing Lee / Amazon etc) i'm successful but the process of the check is frustrating. Regular staff member doesn't know how to deal with it, spends ages on their computer checking the website to make sure it's legit (i've been told by OW staff in the past some people go as far as to create fake retailer websites just to get a PB) which ends up making me look like i'm trying to fool them. Then they get a manager over making sure all is above board, with more waiting if they think it's suss, with them exploring every nook and cranny to try and deny the PB.

          It's not a great experience for the customer but I do understand trying to also combat the fraudsters. Perhaps there needs to be a balance. Perhaps PB's which are less than 15% cheaper than OW can be authorised by the regular team member.

            @melbourne guy: I've only done a PB twice but the second time I called the store to see if they would match it and had them look up the details while I was on the phone. Staff knew to expect me and it was painless at the register.
