    Anybody know if there is any massive difference between this and something that has a 5700U processor such as: https://amzn.asia/d/14DHyCk.

    Looking mainly at modern PC gaming a emulator machine for a "current gen console". Yes I own the games before anybody condems me as a law breaking citizen.

      5800h (I have the Beelink) does up to some ps3 games. Those beelinks are excellent and an amazing price now.

    These look pretty decent specs for the price. $90 more for 32G/1TB. Might have considered if I didn't just get a used optiplex. I started out wanting to spend around RPi5 prices though, so this is out there :D

              @chromium: Still tossing between this and Ser6 Max. The latter's doesn't come with 1T is what's stopping me; but from $1,200 down to $790 is rather tempting. =)

              edit: just check their reviews.. RAM and SSD are both non-brand. Going for the Ser6 Max.

                I can't work out if there is a difference between the 7735HS MAX and this one (apart from the storage)

      Warranty with these brands is rubbish outside Amazon's 30 days. Have a dead Beelink. Beelink want us to ship it as a set top box. Most Delivery services won't send. And the whole affair is more time / hassle that its worth.

        Amazon wash their hands of it? Is that legal? They're the retailer, surely they have to help you out. I guess it could be a grey because they're a marketplace for this stuff. It could be similar to holding ebay repsonsible for warranty. It could be a good idea to pay with PayPal on these things for some protection

            You can absolutely arrange a warranty action with Amazon during the warranty period 🤷🏼‍♂️
            Just contact them and tell them the device has failed.

        Nice! I was so tempted to grab a 32GB/1TB model for $549, but I just spent around $400 all up on a used optiplex after upgrading it to 32GB/1TB. For an extra $150 I could have got a vastly more powerful CPU. Mine should use less power though. Oh well, maybe next time :D
