OGIO Gambit Pro Backpack Black (Sold Out) / Grey / Navy $125 (Was $249.99) & Free Standard Delivery @ OGIO Australia

130

Have seen the non-pro version of this bag mentioned before on youtube day pack videos and stumbled across a decent deal (Didn't even know they had an au site the first time I had a look and gave up on the idea)

Large 22L backpack loaded with organisation, protection and guaranteed to keep your things organised and safe
Dedicated laptop compartment (17" compatible) with padded tablet sleeve
Mission Control Organisation System — (20) total pockets
Large main compartment and three organisation panels, including dedicated spaces for a phone, charger, and earbuds
Moulded Tech Vault protective pocket for your fragile and valuable items
Durable 1680D ballistic, 600D and 420D cross-diamond ripstop fabric with water repellent coating
2 large water bottle pocket.
Contoured shoulder straps with adjustable sternum strap
Luggage pass-through
Front daisy chain webbing loops

NOTE: Checkout did glitch out for me the first time. Making an account and then checking out after signing in worked fine
Ignoring the fancy marketing words, seems like a decent pack

Been using the this style Ogio backpack for years for work and have never had an issue with quality and I’m not gentle on the gear - has to be one of the best back packs for laptops and iPads on the market

    • Really reassuring to hear. Hoping to get a good few years out of this one. What's the go with washing these? chuck it in the machine, cloth wipe or wet vac?

      • Can’t say I have washed my one - I normally just give it a wipe over with a cloth and spray n wipe.
This is the only reason I change them out is when they start looking shabby from work as they spend a lot of the time on the back of Ute's underground. Never had a zip failure or seam failure and it’s always got a laptop , iPad Pro and a load of other stuff in it. Easily get a couple of years out of them.
I even run their luggage - light travel use the terminal bag and for the big trips use the 9800 Pro bag - my first terminal bag lasted 5 years with weekly travel befor the zip had enough.

    I own the Ogio:
    * No Drag Mach 3 backpack (motorcycle use)
    * Renegade RSS Pindot backpack (motorcycle use and commuting)
    * 3lt Dakar Hydration backpack (motorcycle, trails)
    * Leg bag (motorcycle use)

Their quality is superb and I couldn't speak more highly about the company or their products. Definitely worth while shopping around vs going direct to their site, but if you're looking for fantastic quality and practical bags with great designs, you really can't go wrong.

meanwhile, my Crumpler Dry Red No. 5 is sitting in the corner looking all lonesome right about now

Wish I could use my Mach 3 more but my big fcukoff rear spoiler interferes with the top of the bag.. 😪

  • If I need to return it. Is the shipping back to the US? Not clear how much that’ll cost

  • I've been using one of these for 8 or so years. Never had an issue and still looks new.

  • When you click through, the black one is sold out, but the Navy or Heather colour are still available.

No photos of it open on the website. any good reviews for me to watch?

  • Not to discount other people’s experiences with OGIO. However, my experience with their hard shell motorbike backpack has been mixed (~4 years old).

Good quality for the straps, zips and general layout. The plastic material coating sections of the backpack are flaking really badly and little black pieces end up on whatever it brushes up against.

This backpack doesn’t appear to have this type of material coating though so it appears to be ok…
