PSA for the upcoming Bridge to Brisbane event. There will be a number of road closures in place for the event.

To keep traffic moving during the Gateway Bridge southbound closure, Clem7 southbound and AirportlinkM7 southbound will be toll free between 5:00am and 9:30am.

Navigating with Google Maps / Apple Maps?
Untick/turn off "avoid toll roads" setting to take advantage of the toll free period (however be careful not to take the wrong Airport Link tunnel exit - essentially you have to go all the way to the end at the ICB or Lutwyche Road).

Navigating with Waze?
Travel as usual as it has been setup to allow travel for free during this period (unticking the avoid toll road field is not required).

  lol, a deal nowadays is to use a government owned road for a few hours on 1 day of the year with being fined/taxed/tolled.

    Brisbane's tolled bridges and tunnels are actually 62.5% owned by Transurban.

    I guess this post is two part - the forum part is letting people know of the road closures, but the deal part is not paying for the toll.

    If you think it shouldn't be a deal, feel free to report to the mods for review
