There are a lot of bags. Messenger bags, backpacks, sling bags, suitcases etc. Most of the messengers and backpacks are $40 and $50. I didn’t take note of the suitcase costs.
I also scored a freebie Crumpler carry bag that looks like an IKEA tote.

i recently got a crumpler creators kingpin after maybe 4-5 years of no crumpler - i did get a cracker price, a little over $100 from CR kennedy- but i can see why it was marked down so much.

Ergonomics - pretty sloppy imo - sits real awkward and i have a fairly standard slim frame, at 180cm

This is why I try the bags on. I did find one yesterday where the most comfortable spot seemed to have the sling bag upside down.

Happened to me as well. I removed one of the items from my cart and it worked. Some of the items in your shopping cart might actually be out of stock.
@xabialonso: I checked that and all the items were in stock. Still couldn't get it delivered with any address I tried across the continent.

I ordered the toeltry bag to Melb 3000. Seemed to go through fine no issues.
Rushed from work and bought a few bags. Way more from the website, overwhelming really. Prob didn't need half the bags and slings haha. They were also trading bags for Slabs which I thought was pretty cool.

Seems to be all the old stock prior to the original owner taking it back over. Old logo etc, but still good deals!
I'm keen to eventually pick up a fitzroy made messenger when I get the chance. Also if anyone here owns the Dry Floral Arrangement and knows if it's Aussie made.
Used to be a fan of crumpler, after Covid and went voluntarily administered, the support of after sales has been going downhill. I bought the travel suitcase before 2018 and the buckle broke this early year, i brought it back to Town Hall crumpler, they refused to have it fixed and asked me to have it repaired locally despite the fact that i tried to convince him still under warranty and receipt kept as well.
Such a waste of good brand…
I am still hoping their management figures out how to properly manage their after-sale services
Online they have a chronicler plus for $150. Anyone have any thoughts? I love my moderate embarrassment but it's a little small (10L), vs the chronicler plus which is 18L.
For $50 it's worth it, I got a few of them after they were marked down last Friday.

I went this morning and there were a lot of bags there. It depends what you were looking for.
Did they have any travel bags? like a holdall on wheels or suitcases?
I think they had some of those near the back of the room.
OP is right, still some travel luggage there this morning. However lines are pretty long. Be prepared to wait though, as only letting in 50 people at a time (1 in, 1 out).
Prices are great though and plenty of other bargains available.
Dropped by at 3 pm for the hell of it and no queue. They are selling a lot of stock. Enough left to make it worthwhile but nowhere near what they had the first day. Still some soft luggage bags left and there were some Vis a Vis ones that had clothes in them. Someone might be able to sweet talk them into selling one of those.

Anyone been to the Melbourne site to confirm if there’s any carry on luggage left?
Bumping this. I went yesterday - suitcases were very popular before 11am, so I doubt they lasted all day. Assuming word has gotten around, you would assume today to be even busier again, as people either check it out based on friends' recommendations, or people return for a double dip.
I would be interested to see if they have changed the prices on the other stock. Can anybody provide any updates?
I went by this morning when they opened, there were a handful of the soft top small carry on cases but they were visibly scuffed/damaged. No vis a vis. There are still a few backpacks, particularly: mantras, all in tote, off the beaten track, tucker bag, idealist, optimist & cirrus.
One of the workers said today is the final day (no longer tomorrow). So it could be worth popping in later today to see if they drop prices further (or perhaps even give away?) just to clear stock.

-No luggage left - suitcases and carry on.
-No messenger bags left
-Only backpacks and t-shirts left
-Most backpacks were $20 and some still $50.

Got a Mantra backpack for $20. Lots of pockets and it is expandable. There isn’t a lot left and they won’t be open tomorrow. There were a few people when I was there.
By the look of the slabs and wine the staff are ready to party tonight.
I got the Tucker bag, but selling it now for the same price because I ended up going back and getting the Art Collective 15inch. If I picked it up for $20 I might of kept it but got too many now haha.
It was a bit like that. We ended up with four messenger bags and a backpack. On Sunday I ended up on the wrong side of the protest in the city so I had to make my way through the protestors to get to the warehouse. They were noisy but it didn’t feel dangerous. Not like the time I got caught in a tram whilst the antivaxxers swarmed around us.
I think the post worked well with people giving each other a heads up on what was happening. I like it when posts grow organically like that.
