How long until the CX410 is available?

        • You can click Notify Me on the product page of the official website, and we will tell you by email as soon as it is in stock.

    • You could buy 2 sets and have a backup NVR to either use, store or sell. Yes you can use 2 NVRs at the same time. Hide one somewhere and keep the other out in the open, any thieves will steal the obvious one and won't look for the other. They update the NVR every year or two so someone with a 4 year old one would maybe want to buy a new one off you. The dual lens cams don't work on the older NVRs.

If you put one on each corner of a rectangular house, would that get you full coverage?

    • If my house is 50km long in each direction, and you put a person in each corner, will they have full coverage of the entire area? Or even be able to see eachother?

There is not enough details in this question.

      • +1

        Lol
Come on you know the average size of house

        • Point is your question is ambigious. How big, where are the cameras, inside or outside. No matter what we cannot tell you. As you can see you've been asked for further details by many people

    • Facing inside or outside?

    • +1

No, they're usually 90 degrees coverage.
      You'd need 180
      I think

      • I guess more like 360 or at least 270

Why are they round if they are only 90?

        • +1

Prob for aesthetics, less intrusive looking than a bullet

Ideal coverage would require 8. 2 per corner back to back.

      • Oh i see

        • I mean you can do it with 4, but even with 4K once you get half a house away you lose detail. Ideally each camera should be covered by another camera.

  • Does anyone know if this NVR needs to be plugged into the network for connection, or will it work via WIFI alone?

    • It connects to your network via ethernet cable, there is no wireless module, if that's what you're asking.

      • Yes, that's what I was asking. Thank you
