  • Good price. What about the warranty? Is it going to be international warranty or we have to ship it back to Clove?

  • I assume its the usual 1 year samsung international warranty

    • Are you sure about this? Does that means I can contact Samsung Aus if there's a problem with this phone?

    • +1

No au warranty. Download the samsung warranty pdf, it specifically has a box which says "not au stock no warranty"

Call the samsung service centres in granville and rockdale if u want to confirm

Damn Telstra just release the S3 4G already! I am getting very impatient

    • I thought there was an official release date in October for it already.

    my phone died this morning.
GOD, did you just strike down my phone then post this deal?

  • The Note is a little too big I think but I love the S3

  • expensive…. or is it good for a note?

  • +2

If there's an issue with the Phone, Clove allows you to ship it back within 30 days and claim it as DOA (IF it has an issue that prominent) and you can get a new one, and it shouldn't cost you. Then normal 1 year warranty applies where they have to sent it to Samsung to get it fixed

I'm not sure if Samsung Australia will count it as local warranty as well. I know Nokia Australia almost didn't count my Lumia 900 has a local warranty. They sent it back to me (but got it sorted in the end).

Plus Clove are awesome! Bought a phone from them, and have had 3 friends who have done the same - all happy.

    • Make that 4 friends.

      • I know you?

  • Would be interested once it hits the $550 mark, which should be in couple of months going from past records.

You'll be waiting for longer than two months for that. $650 or a bit below - probably. $550 several months away, most likely. It'll depend on sales of course. Personally, I reckon this to be a stop-gap model, with a doubled up and clocked Note cpu waiting for the Exynos 5 processor to come on stream. Now THAT will be worth waiting for. Going forward, be it graphics-wise or otherwise the things that beast will allow will be amazing.

Hold on let me ask samsung for you

Anybody bought from Expansys.com.au? They have it for $714.31+35 delivery.

Also, I asked mobicity when they'd be getting their stock and they replied that they are expecting stock to arrive tomorrow!

    • Sorry, I was thinking that .com.au meant Aussie stock but it looks like that's not the case. Might as well go the cheapest option, which looks like clove and handtec.co.uk

  • This is such a cheap price….I don't know if I can hold out any longer for the 4G version……sigh

    • Same here… German LTE version expected mid November by the looks of it. But I have been waiting soooo long already :,( …. Will probably just cave and live with 3G for another couple of years.
