  • Can you actually charge three devices simultaneously, or is the picture pure marketing?

      • Then the picture they've provided is pure nonsense :(

      • why couldn't you? its most likely just a dumb cable, charging current will obviously be reduced/split between devices.

    • +1

You can. I have done it

      • The 3-in-1 cable can charge three devices simultaneously, but the charging speed depends on the output of the battery or wall charger.

  • +6

My experience with at least 4 of these cables is they are super slow at charging, even one device at a time. Does not pd charge or fast charge but fine for overnight

  • Which one is the data cable?

  • +2

cable like this also sold on Aliexpress for few $$

  • +1

AliExpress may take 15 - 30+ days to deliver your item, where as Gadgetsales ships via AUSPOST the next day. Also, you might prefer to keep your personal details with an Australian company 😉

    • +9

Yep, as we keep details with Optus, Medibank etc

  • dang missed out

  • +1

    Cactus here

These are good for 5V charging of one device at a time. Don't plug in multiple devices with a single cable.

You will not get PD charging and will revert to 5V 1-2A charging. This split between multiple devices mean you'll also charge fractionally slower than that too. Expect to double or triple your charge time from a basic 5v charger, or upwards of 8-10 times slower than a PD charger.

Also.. Charging multiple devices simultaneously like this is a recipe for something going wrong if the device you're plugging doesn't have certain safety features and standards. I've seen incidents of battery banks being charged with similar cables that have blown other attached devices.

If you really do want to split one port, there are USB C cables that will utilize circuitry to safely and correctly split the power to multiple outputs, but they cost $10-20. If it's USB-A, they will never have any circuitry in them.

Remember, there's a reason these aren't commonplace or widely used.

    • can you recommend a Micro USB + USB C in one cable?
I shudder to think of using Micro USB but my insulin pump uses mico and I hate taking 2 cords

  • Anyone had their order marked as sent yet?

    • Nope. Almost feels like they took orders before they even had stock.

    • +1

Received my cable today, came in a standard 'letter' envelope. Order doesn't show as sent on the website.

  • I placed order and my order confirmation never came through. They took my money but still haven’t received it.

    • Finally got mine yesterday. My order confirmation went to Gmail spam folder.

      • Just checked and have received nothing. Thank you for the suggestion though

  • I am getting failed refund messages from paypal for $2. Very suspicious indeed.
