Yes it's the same game since FIFA14 but with different players. And yes, you'll still probably buy it like every other year.

It includes 500 points so you can spend a bit on FUT, then get addicted like a chronic gambler… and spend a heap more so EA execs can get a new high yield investment vehicle.

And no, it's not a physical disc that you could have used to trade in for $2 when you buy EA FC25 next year.

      Updated my fifa 23 recently. Team lineups still have people like Cancelo and Rondaldo. And Alvarez (Man City) rated in the 70s. Doing a search people were complaining on EA forums about lack of updates. So i concluded they stop supporting to get you to buy the same game next year.

        To be fair, this is the exact same on Xbox, PC, PS and has been this way every year for as long as I can remember

      That used to be true until FC 24.

      FC 24 on switch is the same game as other platform.

      For switch

      FIFA 18 = Made for Switch. World Cup mode
      FIFA 19 = Made for Switch. improved graphics, physics.
      FIFA 20 = FIFA 19 + roster update
      FIFA 21 = FIFA 19 + roster update
      FIFA 22 = FIFA 19 + roster update
      FIFA 23 = FIFA 19 + roster update
      FC 24 = Actually a new game. Same as PS5/XBOX But 30fps.
