Purchased this 85mm F/1.8 Sony Lens for $518.98 after price matching with the Sony eBay store with a coupon (HGTSAVE) that brings the price down to $576.65. Then stacked with 10% off again through the new MySony account discount.

Not sure if historical low but still decent price. I did the same thing yesterday for the Sony 35mm F/1.4 GM lens which was $120 cheaper on the Sony eBay store with the coupon and ended up picking that one up for $1290.

  How do you price match a price after using a code? Do you just basically tell them?

    Yes, so here is how I price matched my two lenses.

    1. Start a live chat on the product page. Tell them that it is cheaper on eBay with code [HGTSAVE] and send the link to the page. They will reply back saying that it is fine and they can price match, but they will ask you to submit a price match form on the product page (the button is right underneath the add to cart button).
    2. While on live chat, tell them that you will submit the price match form and quickly submit the form with the relevant details.
    3. Once you submit the request, tell the agent on live chat they will approve and the item will be in your cart with the adjusted price.

    Tip: When you submit the price match request, make sure you use the new MySony account email address otherwise you won't be able to stack with the MySony 10% new account discount.

    The 35mm GM F1.4 listing on eBay was taken down because I think there is currently no stock. If you check the Sony website, it says the item is on back order until 16th November. I would keep an eye out on the eBay store after this date.
