Given the past releases for ASUS with this spec, I would not expect this to be performant for a 240Hz monitor, hence the deep discount despite being a brand new product.

Transitions/response times are likely too slow too often, probably to the tune of less than 40% compliance at 240 and 260Hz (its overclock mode).

  I actually bought this monitor before posting the deal and have had 24hrs to use and experience it.
  
  Colour spectrum / built in profiles = you shouldn't do any content creation on this panel lol
  Gaming performance = very good, its not an OLED but sure does a good job. I was an early adopter of 1440p @ 240hz (AORUS FI27Q-X, December 2020 release) and this monitor is substantially better in terms of response, smearing etc and ELMB works well.
  
  For those looking to grab a decent all-rounder panel without destroying their wallet, I think this is the one.

    That's a low bar, but again I've not see if ASUS are using an updated panel compared to their 2021/2022 releases.
    
    At this price I'd be more interested in the Samsung G6 sales offers, subject to what the input lag is like.
