One of the best games of all time.

Highly, highly recommend.

Pro-tip, the longer you play the more credits you get. Eventually you'll know all the bosses and blast through it.

The human race was annihilated by the light emitted by the ""stone-like object"" excavated from the stratum before Christ.
Only four crew members belonging to the space cruiser ""TETRA"" and one robonoid survived in satellite orbit.
A year later. The supplies on board are depleted.
TETRA is forced to re-enter the atmosphere and begin the fight for human survival.

Strategic shooting game
Stages with various topography such as intricate gaps and moving containers become battlefields, and enemies attack from all directions, up, down, left and right. And 23 bosses await beyond… 6 highly challenging stages await you.
There is a chain bonus that keeps increasing the score by continuously defeating the same enemy, a secret bonus generated by defeating enemies in a specific order, and a hidden score item. The key to earning a score is to cover all of these, build an original pattern for strategy, and accurately defeat the target enemy.
Use different weapons that level up by earning points and beat the high score!

  It’s coming to Steam, apparently. Wonder if it’s worth buying on the Switch or if I should wait for the Steam release.

    wouldn't be much advantage unless you care about steam achievements and it potentially (highly likely) having them… apart from that i don't feel this would struggle on the Switch

  I mean you can but thats not really the way it's intended to be played. If you do the chains of red enemies properly you get powered up a lot faster… 1 credit clear isn't THAT hard.. i mean its hard cos all shmups are hard, but its far from impossible

  I love these games but suck and need god mode or infinite lives. Any such luck?

    Leave the game on pause overnight, it adds to your playtime. More playtime = more lives.

    (you might need a turbo button to stop the system from sleeping, or turn sleep off).

    It has a system where it's like every 10 minutes of playtime gives an extra life.

        nah, burn in isn't really an issue over the expected OLED switch lifetime - I believe there was a youtuber who's left their OLED on since purchasing it and while there are slight burn-ins they disappear quickly on playing something else

    If you memorise the first 2-3 levels combo chains in Radiant Silvergun you get a TON more firepower in this game. It's the difference between it being challenging & literally impossible later in the game.

    No TATE mode because the game was always in 4:3 aspect ratio (i.e. normal tv size).

  Playing it on a Saturn emulator. Super tough game.
