Yes, one of my friends had the same question. He insisted buying the Ipad 3 because he didn't want his new toy to look outdated once the Ipad 4 is out.
The $100 is worth it for the retina display alone!
Id rather give my money to someone else. Gerry has turned into a whinging cry baby. Apple will price match in store to any other retailer. Secondly, JB will give you 10% off for just saying your a student.
How sure are you of (JB will give 10%off), you usually have to prove it, and it usually has to be Uni. student not just any student.
I bought my MBA from there. Said I was studying at TAFE and they went yep, no probs. From memory Apple online do the same. No doubt the stores will too.
Didn't know JB sells degree too. How much is a doctorate? Still give 10% disc if mention I'm a student?
