I had my eye on this TV anyway given the great reviews of Hisense's new 7 series mini-LED range, to get an 85 inch mini-LED of this quality for $2,400 seemed to good not to post. Go easy on me, I think this is my first deal post!

Click & Collect only had a Truganina warehouse pickup for Melbourne, then a bunch of country locations, so it doesn't look like store pickup is available (maybe 'coz of the size?)

      I can't find an 85 inch OLED for less than $8,500. Or a 65 inch for under $6,500…so the brightness and deep blacks on these new mini-LED TVs should suffice for people without OLED money.

        Commbank price protection doesn’t apply for orders placed online - even if the store has a bricks and mortar outlet and you do pickup. Found out the hard way with a purchase done via Freedom furniture.

        Make sure you read the T&C for your price protection, this was from my claim rejection email :

        “ Please note, the Purchase Security benefit within your policy does not provide cover for online advertised purchases and only provides cover for in-store purchases where subsequently you have received a printed or emailed catalogue showing the same business items or personal goods for a lower price in a store within 25 kilometres of the store that the business items or personal goods were purchased.
        While we note, you collected your rug from a store location, your purchase was made online through an online store at an online advertised price, therefore we are unable to consider settlement of your claim.”

    I purchased one of these around two months ago paid a similar price due to a web page error.
    No complaints. Watch a lot of tv series and movies including 4K movies using Plex.
    Very happy with the tv.
    Up scaling lower 720p is extremely good.
    The possible only negative is the Hisense apps are not that good. Use a 4k google chromecast and that makes this a great buy.

    Looks like great value for money TV, thanks OP. I ordered from Good Guys instead though - they have price-matched, their delivery fee was $4 cheaper.

    GOOD guys have 20% off audio and soundbars. Got a jbl800 from jb 4 days ago. Heading to jb today to get it price adjusted. Jb just had 10. Called them yesterday before they closed and they said to come in today to get it adjusted.
