    Just keep in mind with aftermarket docks that Nintendo is the worst and you're always risking being a single firmware update from having a bricked console.

      Our switch works fine with a generic USB-C hub. I don't see why a dock form-factor is going to cause any problems.

        Something to do with the Switch using a non-standard voltage vs standard USB-C spec power delivery. On the off chance it ends up delivering more power than expected, it can fry some core components and brick the system

    Have had 2 of these, one of which was a replacement. Never a good experience. Get good video output for like 30 seconds and then it flickers on and off.. ended up returning.

    AFAIK the only recommended 3rd party docks are the Skull & Co Jumpgate and the Genki Covert Dock. The Genki is a nice product, but is hilariously being used as an iPad dock. The Jumpgate I'm probably going to sell, not because I don't like it, but I have enough "real" docks to sort me out.

    FYI for anyone interested: the Genki Covert Dock 2 is on Kickstarter (70 hours to go) along with some new Genki products.
