Sorry I missed this question. Over time, like any high-use textile, the active Metis PCA fibre in our socks (the fibre that gives the socks all the antibacterial, anti-fungal, odour-free properties) will gradually wear down. This doesn't mean they stop working abruptly or become unusable, but rather the effectiveness of the anti-bacterial and odour-free properties will slowly diminish.
Some people get much longer stints out of their socks, others get shorter. Just depends on usage.
