  • I just actually went to go through the checkout and its says they are out of stock and it replaces it will Buffalo 1TB PORTABLE 2.5" USB3.0 EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE in the cart for the same price

not sure if this is as good.

    • This is the message you get when you try to add the Touro to your cart

Unfortunately, we are now out of stock. As this is the case, we will now add the Buffalo 1TB HDD as a >replacement into your cart, at a reduced cost. If this replacement is not suitable, you may remove it.

  • I found the Touro to be a little faster than WD Passport. Touro had sustained 91MB/s read/write while WD Passport was 80MB/s read/write. The WD Passport drives are quite a bit more expensive too. The passport drives come in a smaller case.

  • +2

out of stock! replace by a Buffalo one, what a liar!

  • not keen on the switcheroo behavior

  • bait and switch

  • Just bought 1 at Centrecom Clayton. They had it priced at $99, but told them it was $79 on the website.
    Still a few left.

  • nothing wrong with the buffalo but the shipping (to syd) kills it at just under $20

the shipping for the $89 one is $10

    • nothing wrong with the buffalo

when you select a Hitachi, and they put a Buffalo in your cart instead…

there's something very wrong with that…

      • obv i'm just talking about the drive not the practice

  • Do these drives have a sata or usb connector on their pcb? Thinking about putting it in the ps3 later.
