IF this was sold by amazon id buy it. But that seller is the worst. Good luck getting support if you need it.

That's just the company that makes the machines lol. Why do you think they are the worst?

@MrMoo: Sounds like you have already made up your mind. Look through past deal support experiences, especially their ebay deals.
Or go look through their ebay feedback.

            • @PlagueistheCheap: so…. you are avoiding manufacturer's own store/distributor like a plague, yet want to buy their product from elsewhere (Amazon)

would you like to share reason please?

              • +1

@OMGJL: Simple, Amazon provides great customer support.

                • @PlagueistheCheap: fair enough.

Though MrMoo basically asked what I asked 3 times in different ways yet I was still confused before having your last answer.

@PlagueistheCheap: If the company experience is so bad, wouldn't it just be better to get a Roborock or Ecovac? lol. Unless you plan to use a Dreame into the ground then get Amazon to refund you when the machine breaks because if you go with warranty you still need to contact Dreame.

This is OOS but for future deals if people are wondering, I've had this exact model for like two years now and it's still going well. Deliberately got one without auto-bin because I needed it to be low profile for docking under the buffet. Love it. Very easy to maintain, I just dump the dust bin in trash (no liners) and unclip the brush to pull the pet hair off after every couple of uses. Wheel and brush pops out easily and quickly to grab anything big that gets tangled. It hates hair pins. Mopping function could be better, but I hand scrub any obvious spots quickly (like a food mark) then let this grab the rest. The lidar works well which was a selling point for me at the time, but you'll still need to own a vacuum obviously (couch, under rugs, behind pot plants and cornices etc). This just makes that work easier and it picks up a pretty decent amount of hair / dust. Thanks for listening to my TED talk.

  • Can this be operated without WiFi or any connection aka just physical button push operation?

I got one of these and its great. Jailbroke(/rooted?) and installed Valetudo the night we received it and its been running like a dreame since.

  • Have one and love it. Buy spare brushes/mop pads/spare parts on Aliexpress and save a ton of money, and even though the internal map goes wonky sometimes, it's easy enough to re-scan the house every so often and it's right as rain again. At this price, thoroughly recommend.
