ABOUT THIS GAME
WILL YOU ANSWER THE CALL TO ADVENTURE?
Egypt, 1930's. Erased from ancient history and buried in a nameless tomb for 4,000 years, Seteki the Witch Queen has risen once again.

Only one troop of daring heroes can stand against the fearsome power of Seteki and her army of mummified monstrosities: The Strange Brigade!

Explore remarkable ruins, solve perilous puzzles and uncover tantalising treasure while blasting your way through an array of undead enemies in thrilling third-person action that’s certain to bring out your inner adventurer!

ONE GRIPPING ADVENTURE

FOUR FEARLESS FORTUNE HUNTERS
Travel the ancient world as one of four dashing agents trained to tackle the supernatural. Unleash devastating magical powers and unload powerful prototype weapons such as the fire-spitting Krakatoa, the ice cold Chill Burster, and the brain-busting Blunderbuss!

A LEGION OF MALEVOLENT MONSTERS
Seteki is not the only mythological menace to have awoken … she’s brought an army of loyal beasts with her! Face her many nefarious ne’er-do-wells, including moaning mummies, fire-breathing assassins, armour-plated minotaurs, giant scorpions and much, much worse!

TONS OF TERRIFYING TRAPS
Keep an eye on your environment to find creative ways to boff your enemies! Decapitate the undead with spinning blades, fry them to a crisp with fire traps, crush them with a well-placed boulder and more. You wouldn’t set them on your team mates … would you?

  • Looks interesting, purchases, thanks OP.

I just came here to cry about what you said about a game released in 2018 being old…

I'll go back to playing HL1 now, farewell

    • +1

I'm going back to Quake II, which is on sale at the moment.

      Also adding RTX to it.

      • Quake 4 Arena is where it's at. Still play it sometimes.

        That and Freespace 2.

Why do we all have to wear these ridiculous ties?

    • Same here, when I think old games, I'm thinking of CGA 8-bit 80s graphics.

  • +2

if you got a friend to play with its a good coop game.

  • got this for free with a video card purchase, never played it…

    • +1

Same, got it with a RX 580. I did play it, didn't finish it, but it was certainly worth tree fiddy.

  • +2

I tried playing it on console and I don't know, just couldn't get into the whole comedy take on everything. Felt really forced. Much better co-op games you can play like Aliens: Fireteam Elite, WWZ, etc.

Had good fun playing through this with mates, worth the money

  • Definitely worth it, especially at this price.
Might not appeal to the hardened co-op player, but certainly had fun playing through it with my daughters, the eldest playing as a character, and the youngest looking for the hidden cats.
Very much tongue in cheek, as this is a British studio parodying the style and manner of the 1930's public service announcements.

Last time I played (6-8 months ago), there was still enough people around to fill lobbies, even on Australian time.

I had to permanently remove the game from my account to buy the deluxe edition as the price difference is massive.

I bought it for a friend and didn't want to not have to DLC in case for multiplayer.

  • Awesome coop game! Played through it several times back when it was on xbox game pass, huge recommend, especially this cheap!

  • Have had a lot of fun with this one, definitely worth the price.

  • Does everyone need to own the deluxe addition to play the new campaign stuff?

  • I don't even have a gaming PC anymore… but I bought this anyway. Maybe I'll get one again sometime. Thanks, OP.

wow 20,000 concurrent players at the moment… shouldn't have any issues matchmaking

    • +3

More like 6000 in US, 7000 in Europe, 7000 in Asia, 2-3 in Australia. It's the way it always is.

      • It took me all of 20 seconds to find 3 other players (albeit 1 of them being a royal idiot) on Sunday night to go through 2 campaign levels.

  • if anyone already owns the base game and wants deluxe for the DLC, you'll have to remove the game completely from your steam library to be able to purchase it - i did it this morning, worked fine

  • took me a moment to work out how to get the deluxe version when I had the base game but good old youtube and google came to save the day.

I forgot how much fun this game was as it's been quite some time.
