Costco normal price for Hozelock Auto Reel 25 metres was $169. Sometimes, it was on sale for $129. Now it is only $99.97. Instore only, it is not available for online delivery. There were about 20 units at Costco Epping yesterday (31/10/2023).

Which is tough on hoses.I got this from last 2 years and still fine.
the gears are made out of plastic and cannot be put in direct sunlight as they tend to brittle away. I had this and it took ~2-2.5 years before the reel stopped working.
Is there anyway to find costco stock levels? Similar to nrby.in?

I don’t think so but there are limited number of stores so ringing would, probably, be the best idea.

My local (Docklands) doesn't have any in store (although systems suggest they had 10 in stock). I picked one up from Epping yesterday, they had another 10 or so on the floor and they're systems showing as having 18 in stock. They are on clearance and won't be restocked. Worth calling Epping first if you're coming from a distance.
Epping still had some today.
They've been reduced further to I think it was $75 today at Epping. Only a couple of boxes left and they were on a trolley at the end of an aisle.
