JAYO 1.1kg 3D Printer Filaments: Buy 6, Get 4 Free from $128.40 ($125.19 eB+) + Del ($0 SYD C&C) @ Jayo3d eBay

150
TOPH20TOPH22

Original Coupon Deal

Jayo filaments have a Pay 6 Get 10 special (add 10 to cart) which stacks with the eBay 20% or 22% coupons.
Apparently a sub brand of Sunlu.
Filament looks to be using cardboard spools.

They use 1.1kg spools so it ends up being around $12.5/kg delivered for PLA (depending on colour) which is pretty cheap.

Nice, I bought some Sunlu last night appying the same codes to this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/807507#comment-14507089. Postage is $6 cheaper for me ($9 vs $15) on this deal, and the filament cost difference is about $9 on 20kg, so Sunlu $279.71 for 20kg of PETG (10 black, 5 white, 5 grey), this deal is $264.32. Ah well, no idea if there is any actual difference in the filament. This article seems to think Jayo is the better of the two… https://cybertechradar.com/comparing-jayo-and-sunlu-a-profes… Hmmmm, do I need more filament now? Actually, factoring in the 1.1kg per spool, that would be an extra 2kg, even better.

I have had 2 x 12 hour prints fail due to jayo PLA kinks in filament and their petg needs to be dried before use. Changed to Sunlu no issues so far.

    • I've ordered some Jayo. I'll let you know how they go.

Same, mixed silks, rainbow, PETG, 11kg for $12.70/kg, couldn't pass that up.

      • FWIW I've been through 5kg of their PETG white, and just purchased another 10kg, no issues so far.
I live in Brisbane and leave the roll on the printer and haven't done any drying.
        Mostly functional prints at 120mms.

      • Hey mate any feedback on the ones you ordered?

  • How about the quality of this brand? New to 3D print, just bought my Anycubic and their own brand filaments ..

    • I just printed a figurine with the Jayo red copper silk and it looks great. Small amount of stringing at 215c but otherwise no issues.

  • Shame its cardboard. :(

    • I've seen most people 3d print a frame for it to work around this
