I'll assume, similar to the previous 20% off eBay Sale

    • +2

Yep pretty much a repeat of that and will probably result in a lot of complaints.

      • +3

How dare you undermine the haters!!

  • +23

    Here before the disappointment comes.

    • +1

I'd be surprised if anyone is surprised to be disappointed given myself and Richard have basically said what sort of deals there will be.

    • Call me disappointment, and you were too late

    • +2

Can’t wait to see Jack soon

  • +1

hopefully some great laptops or mesh systems beat the price rises - probably best off waiting for black friday i guess

  • if anyone finds a bose qc ultra or qc (2023) with 20%, please shout out haha

  • Expecting bunch of Sony deal tmr

    • +1

You won't find that or Bose in this deal.

      • +4

My bad for expecting sth worth buying.

      • plz no. all i want is bose deal

  • +1

    Dam Son Meme

  • I’m ready to be hurt again

  • I'm ready to find me.a bargaim

  • I just bought stuff using Nov17 :(

    • same :/

  • +20

Amazing, over 50 up votes for an unknown deal without any real details.

    • +8

I've given a heap more details about what the sale contains than any of the other "eligible items" eBay sales in the past. If anyone can't read that then they need a bulk billed Specsavers eye test.

      • If anyone can't read that then they need a bulk billed Specsavers eye test.

Goodluck to them. Wasn't there issues with bulk billing 😉

        • Yep. Not those item numbers though 😜

        • Or the actual glasses once you get past the bulk billing

      • +1

You gave as many details as you can, but you absolutely did NOT give enough to work out if it's a good deal or not.

No need to be so touchy…

        • -2

How on earth am I supposed to determine that when you can't see what's included before the sale has started? Even if I could see it I wouldn't be allowed to share anything due to OzBargain rules preventing it. Mostly due to price jacking.

          • @Clear: What on earth do you think "you gave as many details as you can" means?

If I post a deal saying "next Wednesday Coles will have a series of half price offers but I dunno what they are", can I get angry at people not upvoting it? "But there's no way I could know, so it shouldn't matter!!!"

            • -1

@callum9999: As per the deal it's a repeat of this with heaps of examples. If people still expect Bose they need an eye test

              • +1

@Clear: Is your ego directly linked to the number of upvotes you can get on a deal!?

Utter rubbish. As per the deal "You can expect this sale to apply on a lot of Chinese branded products like Xiaomi, Anran etc like the previous sale."

That does NOT provide actual examples of what specific products will be available at what prices. Your ego apparently needs constant attention so good job on posting the deal, but the original comment you're throwing a hissy fit over (that people were voting on this without knowing what the offer actually was) is irrefutably correct. Goodbye.

                • -1

@callum9999: Why do you think I'm trying so hard to tell people that this is not an eBay sale on Dyson, Bose, Sony, Google and all other big brands? Because of the shitload of votes it has received. Simple as that.

If people choose not to listen or have massive meltdowns like yourself then you can't blame me for being disappointed. I told you so.

                  • +1

@Clear: So you agree with me that people are voting on a deal despite not knowing what it is? Great, your hissy fit seems pretty pointless then…

                    • -1

                      @callum9999:

So you agree with me that people are voting on a deal despite not knowing what it is?

Yes I never disagreed with that. Again, that's why I've been trying to tell everyone that this is for Chinese brands (i.e. Xiaomi and Anran) and by linking the same kind of sale posted previously for more examples.

The only thing I'm having a hissy fit about is the people who still think they're getting the big brands after being told it's not that kind of sale. They shouldn't be quick to blindly upvote deals.

    • It's called a lucky dip

  • Then why did you post it today? 😂 I normally forget about it

    • +5

You can click Reminder under the deal ;)

    • Tomorrows forecast: cloudy with a chance of Jack

Problem with eBay discount is only discount on things you don’t want to buy but no discount on things you want to buy. Gimmick

    • +3

You mean you don't need a 100pk of plastic toe spreaders?

    • +1

  • OP; link in description says page doesn’t exist. Have an updated one to search by any chance? I don’t know how to do that.

    • Sale isn't live yet

      • Oh I assumed link was active with items but sale was not. Thanks for clarifying.

  • Any good deals on 3 piece hard luggage light suitcases please

  • once live, will it apply to Dyson ?

eg Im after this one - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/155847407285

    • As per the deal it's supposed to be for the Chinese brands like the previous one I linked. So no Dyson.

  • I'm wondering if we will see any RX7800XTs at under $800… going by their $950-$1000 ebay Price points. At 22% they should be around $770

Maybe a good deal at that price…

    • Let us know if you see any!

    • We can only dream

    • +1

lol. it'd be 2025, minimum, before we see any actual gpu deals, not "its a deal relative to 2020 pricing" or "its a deal if you don't play a certain 80% of games (intel)" or "its a deal if you count the ex-mining price as a % of MSRP"

  • +1

Where to see the eligible list?

    • When the deal goes live on the sale page linked in the deal.

      • I can’t see anything showing up in the app. Only webpage?

        • Its not 10am yet.

  • +1

Don't go live yet.. just jacking prices, please wait

    • jack jack jackin it

  • -1

    Do discount codes stack?

  • +6

OP made it very clear what was likely included in this sale, but people are still upvoting this post like it’s a 2016 20% off site wide eBay promo.

In a couple of hours the comments will be full of whining and complaining about the limited number of listing the promo code applies to. Even though the inclusions/exclusions are in the description. Ah, Ozbargain.

    • +2

I'm expecting people to complain there's no Dyson, Bose etc and I'll be like I told you so. I can spell it out 100 times and they'll still miss it.

      • I can spell it out 100 times and they'll still miss it.

Was excited to check out booze bud this morning. I didn't miss it but I chose not to believe.

      • +1

Who needs a Dyson when you can have a Lubluelu?

  • +6

As expected, its 20% off Chinese no name junk. :)

    • +7

      On the contrary dear sir!
There are names aplenty: SVBONY, ROCKBRS, SONICAKE, ANNKE… and those are just the shouty ones!

      • +2

Why don't you act like a tree, and get outta here

        • +1

          OK Buford.

        • +1

IT'S LEAVE YOU IDIOT, MAKE LIKE A TREE AND LEAVE. YOU SOUND LIKE A DAMN FOOL WHEN YOU SAY IT WRONG.

  • Seems not live still? @Clear

I guess any minute it will be…

    • +1

eBay changed the URL for the sales page. Now updated.

Interestingly eBay outsource a lot of their marketing and these "sales" are launched by a 3rd party. That's why it can be slow sometimes.

      • -1

That's also why it is fleabay, and they are pure bstard/bic crooks!

  • +8

I expected nothing, and I’m still disappointed

    • So basically all no brand name items?

  • Wow literally nothing in my long watch list lol

  • I had some hope for the POCO brand phones, but no luck sadly… Hopefully better sales in future.

    • +1

11/11 AliExpress sales should have something.

      • I always find the shipping times (and nightmare of refunds/returns) to be an off-put when shopping there, don't think I'm brave enough to drop $500 on there.
