Have been looking at trampolines for Christmas and noticed these tonight. Looks like a great price. Doesn't include any freebies unfortunately. Shipping was free to my postcode (regional NSW).

Just come down after a sale for halloween. For reference, the ultra was $100 more, but had the tent (cover), and top cover accessories. If you want to get the accessories now they cost a crapton.

  • Yeah i just ordered, good price. Harvey norman offer free delivery if anyone is getting charged. Also giftcards can be used.

Jumpflex have some great prices atm too, esp in the flex range. Good time to buy a trampoline

Ultra XL was $800 delivered with the shade cover this time last year. no problems so far. if you have the space, go big.
oof just saw the accessories prices - we got the tent wall for the ultra XL for $70 at the same time. don't buy it. it turns the trampoline into an oven.

    • My shade cover is 2yrs old this xmas (bought Thunder Large 20/10/21) and with the shade cover..the a tent pole poked through. The black plastic needle that feeds into the pole, its 'string' has also come loose/unstitched.

      Out of warranty 🥹

So had to sew stuff back together which isnt the easiest thing to do. Today, I've just noticed eye rings and will probably try use these to somehow secure the shade cover down.

Fwiw, I paid $1449, came with tent bundle

I purchased a Vuly Thunder XL and the metal frame started to show signs of rust within the first year and now showing sever rust.
Vuly Brisbane promised to replace the rusted parts but never honoured their promise.
I don’t recommend dealing with this company.
    Ref: Vuly Issue ticket 242115.

I've read this is an issue. The ones on gumtree marketplaces all look rusted as well

    • +4

Same issue with my swing set. These Vuly’s don’t age well.

    • Don't they have 7y warranty on metal components?

    • We bought a beach cart that got badly rusted within a year, although to be fair we live near the ocean

  • Thanks. The kids have been wanting one for ages

The padding that surrounds the mat doesn't appear to be UV stabilised. It fades very quickly and cracks. The stitching also fails quite quickly. Just something to consider if you want a trampoline to still look good when it's older than 18 months. (Neighbours has done the same so I don't think its a one off…(

Can confirm our mat as well has started to show signs of UV/sun damage (about 2yrs old), but it's mostly in the last six months that it's started to get worse. No other issues and it's been a great trampoline but the padding has really deteriorated lately. Sounds like it's an issue across their models (we have the Ultra, not the Flare)

Vuly is poor quality with good marketing. They are always on sale and still too much for what you are getting.
They are not built for Australian conditions at all.

    • +1

      Agreed

The coloured part on ours is horribly faded and looks like garbage

The wrapping around the pole padding is all bunched and cracked

It’s only a 2 years old and is junk

We got a “Springfree” now to replace it

Will never buy vuly again or recommended it to others

Kmart tramp is still going strong after 2 years. No rust.

    • +1

Same. The roof part has been ripped and whipped off by wind 3 times though!

  • +4

From my research, Vuly doesnt seem to actually be premium - it just has a premium price. Better off with something like Springfree which is actually premium quality.

    • Do you know what's a good brand that used springs?

  • Facebook marketplace littered with Vuly freebies. Might need a can of vinyl paint.

Realistically what age can kids use these without damaging their joints?

    • +8

they shouldn't be jumping and smoking at the same time. very dangerous.
