@FrankAbagnaleJr: Sorry, i meant the #3 is also OOS in NSW so both not available for NSW. They must send it from their store in that state. If i choose VIC which still has stock, it doesnt allow me to check out with a NSW postcode.

Website is strange. Was only showing 35" before, now only showing 34" for me but for both, couldnt be added to cart. Doesnt even show up in the Putters section anymore in NSW.
@8azinga: I wonder if it holds it in peoples carts and messes up the availability. Someone may have been deciding between 34 and 35in. Looks like NSW is sold out now.

Can anybody recommend a driver for an absolute beginner to golf? Looking to just go to the driving range from time to time. Constantly paying the rental fee is getting a bit expensive haha

Otherwise keep an eye out on FB market place or gumtree. Go for a known brand, regular flex shaft and no more than 10 years old.
marketplace is your friend. just be careful don't wire any money…seen bunch of scams selling ping G425 for $150….
Garage sales
Go instore to try a few to see what suits your swing. You might prefer a stiffer shaft if you swing faster, prefer something lighter, different lofts.
Wilson D9 driver is quite light so may help a beginner but they only have stiff shafts but i dont think it is overly stiff. Also went in thinking of buying the 9deg but after testing, found the 10.5deg better for me. While i did buy it due to the price, i had a swing with some heavier drivers and found they probably suited me a little better but i couldnt justify the extra cost.

Any thoughts on the SB or the #3?
Depends on your preference. SB is face balance so suits a straight back and forward stroke. #3 has 21deg toe hang for a mild arc shot. If you're used to using blade putters the #3 is probably better, the SB is probably better for most people though.

Fair enough. The SB was showing stock since last night but it was marked out of stock this morning on the post. I imagine it was sold out in another state.
NSW was OOS when i check a few times last night and this morning. Was back in stock a 10 min ago but gone again now in nsw.
