    Mad prices for outdoor cameras.:)

    • +1

Yup they're about $64 each without an AU plug on AliExpress. Can't get any better.

Any chance you could organise the same deal for the Bullet 2 version as well?

      What’s the difference

      • +1

        The 2 has a speaker.

      • +1

        Two-way talk for the 2

    • @Clear were you able to assist with this? Or just on the 2E

      • Sorry been on a plane all day.

  • Sorry I didn’t see in description, but imou one is wired right ?

    • +1

Ethernet or wifi connectivity and a power adaptor.

IMOU looked good but reviews of the app highlight some deal breaker issues for me. Apparently you need to pay a monthly subscription if you want to download the videos from the SD card (i.e. if the camera is mounted outside, maybe up high). And if you want to see the live feed continuously on the Windows app you have to pay the fee too, or else the feed is placed on pause. Other complaints include not being able to cancel the subscription once signed up, nagging 'upgrade trial' pop ups cause delays while using the app, can only preview 'human detected' videos, poor customer service, unintuitive app, and a few odd bugs.

    • Blue Iris and block the camera internet access

      • How do you know that will enable the paid features?

        • Which paid features do you want? Blue Iris costs money but it allows you to host and record and send notifications completely locally with a VPN phoning home, and has local AI for person/object detection.

  • Will the Chinese be watching?

  • can we see Imou Bullet 2E via Tuya app?

Shipping is $7.80? How to fix?

    • +1

Having the same issue. Appears as 0 until you apply the coupon code and then reverts to $7.80

      • $78 is still a decent price but yeah thought it was $69 delivered

  • +3

Just bought it for $69 inc shipping so looks like it is working properly now.

  • Does anyone have success story pairing this IMOU camera model with a wireless NVR? I can only find 2MP NVR from IMOU on AliExpress. Wondering if I have to use different wireless NVR brand for this model since it's 4K.

    • Supports ONVIF so any NVR should be fine.

      • "Should" but never assume. I researched that, apparently ONVIF is a loose standard and can be done differently by different manufacturers such that it doesn't always work.

        • That's why Blue Iris and all the others exist.

  • Expired both codes…

  • Now to get some Micro SD Cards, looks like I am up for the same cost as the camera to get something good. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/811630
