GOOLOO GT4000S 4000A Jump Starter 26800mAh USB-C PD Power Bank $155.99 ($152.09 with eBay Plus) Delivered @ GOOLOO eBay

160
BF20AUBF22AU

Awesome bit of kit that doubles as a power bank with 100W USB-C PD. Just the right capacity to carry on flights at 99.2Wh.

Comes with a 100W USB-C PD + USB A car charger, though keep in mind it's definitely not USB-IF certified. My 65W Dell Latitude doesn't like it (the car charger) for example, but otherwise charges perfectly on the jump starter itself.

Buy more than 1 and split the savings with your mates.

  • Agree it’s a great bit of kit. Paid about this for my GT3000 so reckon this is a bargain.

    • Agreed.
The only downside is that this doesn't come with the hard case which the GP4000 does.

  • Fantastic unit. Its worked where others have failed.

  • Looks like you can run a car fridge with it

    • Can, but only 99Wh so not for long if you open the fridge too much, and it also times out if no load for a while so not too little either.

Better off with a portable portable power station like this. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/295312303349

  • I recently changed the battery, was like 4 years old and now the new battery is also behaving the same. Any suggestions what could be wrong or do I need to charge battery using external charger? Have driven like 20 kms on the day it was changed and now after short trip, less than a km, it feels like dead - but couple of starts and works normally

    • check the cigarette light socket - unplug any device from it.
      check the cabin light
if you have auto light turn on, try to turn it off for next couple days.
If the issue goes away, try to check which of the above caused the issue by turning on one by one.
      hope it helps.

NB: I am not a mechanic so the above are for general commentary only - my advice is that you visit a professional mechanic to get the right assessment.

    • It could be your car battery is not getting charged when the car is running.
Compare the battery voltage before (approx 12.8V) and after engine running (approx 14.4).
If the voltage remains the same or similar value, then that is an indication that the alternator is not charging the battery.

  • Can this work for stop/start batteries?

are you referring to hybrid car?
if you are, the yes it works because I used it on prius car.

  • Thanks - Missed out on the last deal for the smaller one. This is good!

  • Love mine, have rescued a few cars and constantly use it to get my old bike started. Does 100 W PD, charges my XPS, but won't charge my ThinkPad.

I will note the inbuilt safety feature of trying to crank several times within a few minutes can be annoying - I only hit this for the motorbike which is finicky, but it takes a long time waiting for it to reset.
