Individual addressable LEDs?
I'd also like to know.
I’ve got a few of these. Definitely not addressable LEDs. They’re also not particularly bright. I am happy with them as mood lighting only.
So not recommended for outside use but under cover?
Yeah, I'm only using them inside. Built a cubby house under the bunk bed for one my kids and it works perfectly there, also at the back of my computer desk behind the screens. For outside I'm using the Philips Hue Outdoor strips, bright as hell but expensive, bought those on FBMP.

Haven’t used light strips before. Can I cut it multiple times and have it in different rooms?
I have these, but no, the point of cutting it is to make it smaller to suit the space you’re looking to put it in. The other end connects via a PowerPoint so unless you can somehow wire a new PowerPoint thing to each individual strand then I don’t think it will work
Any recommendations for neon RGBIC?
