The way around it is to buy the gift exchange card as credit. Then convert to the Amazon / ebay cards. Did it already and confirmed working this morning.

      • just did this method, and i can confirm it worked perfectly! $11 or so back in my pocket from last batch of christmas pressies!

      • Thanks worked

RAGE QUIT 🤬 The ****ers killed Amazon and eBay right in time for BF. Boo hiss.

  • expired?cannot use

    • Only 2 allowed, and only for some CC

      • I cant even buy any

  • Amazon GC no longer included?

  • once you login, site is under scheduled maintenance?

    • Was working 2 minutes ago - looks like it's down…

      EDIT: Aaaaaand we're back

  • "You cannot use this voucher with these products" - error when applying promo code on Amazon GC

    • Ditto

    • Same with eBay…

Basically buy store credits with 6% off
Use those credits to buy Amazon etc gift card

      • is there any caveat to this? so I could buy like $2000 worth of exchange gift card, and then exchange it for $2000 in amazon gc after?

        • nvm just saw there is a max of $500 for them

Workaround here also for Amazon and eBay now I guess.

    • Has anyone tried this work-around for Amazon and ebay then?

      • Works for Amazon n Bunnings atleast

  • Looks like it's down again, paid for exchange credit but got diddly squat :@

    • Did it eventually work?

      • +1

Yep got the credit this morning.

  • Do they not accept Amex or website isn't working properly?

    • I don't think they accept Amex.

  • You cannot use this voucher anymore (usage limit reached)

    anyone else?

    • Yes, have a look through previous comments.

  • I’ve noticed that the terms exclude eBay if you read it. However, if you click on the promo button ‘slay black friday’ it then opens a page of gift cards including eBay. That’s a legal offer that is then refused.

  • Is it pretty safe to purchase exchange cards the swap them for eBay and use them without any issues ? I need $800 for something specific and don’t want to get stuck with it, I would never use $800 on eBay under normal circumstances. Is the process pretty quick ? Would also be stuck if the item suddenly becomes unavailable in the process.

    • No issue for me once the payment got through (if the bank did not reject). I used the credit to buy eBay GC. Happened almost as soon as you click buy. You can use the GC straight away.
Much better than say Redeemyourgiftcard which I waited for hours for someone to process my payment before they issue the GC. Half the time, nothing came through for a day and I had to send a request. I missed a few buys because of that (deal expired or sold out).

      • Thanks for that, appreciate it.
As it turns out, what a completely useless site. They can’t even process a standard Visa card successfully. Tried three times and gave up.

        • I had one more try from a deferent device and now get you cannot use this voucher. What a time waster

  • Anyone here know if you can get the Myer GCs (with the 6% discount) and then swap those Myer GCs, for Coles Myer Group GC at a Myer Store?
I'm trying to get discount at Officeworks due to a pending laptop purchase … lol.
    Cheers

  • Could someone please confirm if exchange card can be swapped to ebay gc?

    • Worked for me.

      • can you explain how it works exactly? I'm a bit hesitant to spend 750 on gift cards

        • +1

You add the eBay GC(s) to your cart (it has a few default amounts but you can also make custom ones from $20 to $???), checkout and pay with your store credit. The Exchange card adds to your store credit. The GCs are added to your wallet, each one needs to be activated (takes a few seconds) and then you can use them right away.

  • looks like ebay T+C indicates only up to $1500 a day can be redeemed per transaction, bugger!

  • Purchased an Exchange eGift Card at 6% off and then used the credits to purchase an Amazon gift card.

  • I emailed their CS about not being able to use the code twice (one time there was an error), and they got back to me with a custom code which worked without issues. This time I used my ING card which worked without even asking for an SMS code, nice but maybe a little concerning when both Macquarie and ubank were onto the transactions for some reason.

  • still working as of yesterday

Confirmed working as of today. Just bought $650 worth of stuff on Amazon.
For anyone else buying big - keep in mind although you can add up to $2500 in credits - you can only convert to amazon gift cards up to $500, so in my case i got the $650 of credit, then converted to 2 amazon cards, one $500, one $150, then added separately to amazon account.
