Isn’t this the normal price? (Or very close to it?)

Gets the job done I will say

    • +1

Yeah, it's the regular price, prolly because of the reviews:
1-star Great quality product for low price

1-star Looses its bristles - plastic in the oceans

1-star I bought it a couple of years ago and sincerely regret I did. I notice one or 2 black brisles detach every time I use it and as they are made of plastic this ends up polluting our waters…what a shame

1-star Did not like the bolmen. It turned my bowl gray.
      Response from IKEA:
      It's IKEA!

Idk my misso replaced all the ones in the house with those new age boutique silicone ones with no bristles… which is fine for those dainty poops that don’t even touch the bowl idk - but I rate them 0/5 as they are useless for tough skid marks.

These $2 ikea ones do the job way better yet to find bristles detached and withstands tough scrubbing (so far anyway)

I have recently used "Dr. Beckmann Oven Cleaner Active Gel" on skidmarks and it did the trick. Just a single spray… Then with a flush it was gone.

The gel is thicker so clings well.

    A smelly deal

  • Should pair this with some KFC deals

  • The OXO toilet brush is easily the best one we have used and we've used a lot of different ones both cheap and not so cheap. It's really expensive but it can get into places others couldn't. It's canister is also really well designed. No need to fiddle around, pushing and prodding to try to hide the brush.

  • My bowl has these marks near the pipe which i can't clean despite the scrubbing

I don’t use these stupid things, scratch the hell out of my backside.

I would get one like this. You don’t see how yucky the brush is getting. I also put in the toilet cleaner gel and scrub with that during the full clean. The residual on the brush helps the between full clean “clingon” removal.

You can replace the brush with these.

    • plastic > rust bucket.

        This one then

The one I really would’ve recommended they don’t seem to sell anymore. It was metal on the outside with a removable plastic sleeve inside. I just empty it out every now and again.

        • also a rust bucket, check the reviews just hit 1 star first in the list: "Disappointed with the product quality. The handle broke within a week. And the metal outer container has started rusting at the place where it touches the floor."

          • @[Deactivated]: The 10 one star reviews out of 100 plus. There will always be people who complain about something. We have one that is a tad rusty in the first one I put up but it is over three years old. Maybe people need to empty the water that accumulates at the bottom out of it every now and again.

            • @try2bhelpful: lots of toilet cleaners use bleach which almost guarantees these metal containers to rust, will always recommend plastic for this purpose.

oh and did you read the 10 1 star review's? they all claim broken handle. highly doubt they're lying in this regard.

              • @[Deactivated]: Who knows but I doubt the other 90% of the reviews would ignore a broken handle. Frankly I think plastic ones look unattractive and being able to see the stained brushes is just gross. This is an $8 product and, by the look of the reviews, most people don’t have an issue. Just putting it up there for people to consider. They can read the reviews just like we have.

                • @try2bhelpful: you haven't been online shopping long enough if you can't tell just from the negative reviews alone that there is a design flaw in this products handle.

                  • @[Deactivated]: I’m leaving this up to people to look at the cost of the product, the reviews that have been received, my own personal experience with IKEA toilet brush holders and you think I can’t handle online shopping. OK mate, I will leave you to it.

  • Good price for something that ought to be a little disposable. But I find this lacks the kind of serious scrubbing power my diet requires.
