Don't forget to pick up a polarising filter or other accessories if you want it when buying the dashcam as it's $4 dearer when bought seperately.

  • why doesn't it come with a rear cam?

    • It's just a single channel dash cam, so it does not support a rear cam connection.

    • Why would it?

  • Thanks OP. Been thinking about installing one lately and this is a perfect price to get started.

  • whats the cheapest deal on a deal channel atm?

  • Ordered can confirm it is AUD150.93

  • this or the 70mai A500S ?

  • Bit silly but wanted to order two. Cheaper to put through two separate orders.

    • Not silly. I did the same, haha.

  • How difficult are these to install?

  • I've never had a dash cam before. Is 128gb enough for general usage? Any specific reason to go bigger?

    • +2

It all depends on how much driving you do and how long you want to be able to store footage. The dashcam automatically deletes the oldest video when the card fills up. I have the A119 V3 with a 128GB card and it will store about 10 hours of video at 1600P resolution. We don't drive much and just do the school runs so it's good for about 4 weeks for our usage. That's enough time for us to review the footage from a fine in the mail, incident, etc.

  • Thanks OP, been waiting for one of these. Looks like it captures number plates really well and can download straight to phone over wifi

  • I don't know much about this kind of tech but would it be fair to say if I got 2 of these, 2 filters, not sure if I need 2 remotes or not.

Get maybe a pro to install front and back. Assume hardwired. It's the ducks nuts pretty much of dashcam experiences?

  • Spewing - bought one about a month back for $220 or so with the filter and hardwire pack. Amazing quality from this unit.

This is a really great price.

  • Shame no suction cup mount available.

Need a good duo viofo deal

  • -1

A119 V3 is same price on amazon AU at the moment if anyone doesn't want to wait for delivery

    • +1

V3 has a worse image sensor - Mini 2 is the latest Starvis 2 - no WiFi/app function, no included GPS logger, and a buffered parking mode.
Along with a few other bits and pieces.

  • For those of us with older car who are still using our cigarette lighters to Bluetooth our phones to the radio, how do would you recommend powering the thing? Is hard-wiring it easy or is there like a double adapter for a cigarette lighter? Obviously buying a Bluetooth head unit is the most expensive option hence looking at the two cheaper alternatives

    • I personally used the cigarette lighter usb port for my A119S until I upgraded the headunit recently and plugged the dashcam into the headunit directly. CIggy lighter is definitely the cheaper route.

    • wont be an issue…
get a car charger with splitter and usb ports?

      https://www.amazon.com.au/Cigarette-Lighter-Splitter-Charger…

if u using a bluetooth fm device thats taking up the whole ciggi slot…

Bought two Aliexpress A119 MINI 2+HK3+CPL+Bluetooth bundle for 231.62 USD (359 AUD) using 11SALE40 coupon.

    $14 Cashback also tracked.

    • This should be a separate deal by itself!

      • coupon randomly works and also it was for two items which had additional 5% discount

    • its actually A119 MINI 2+HK3HK4+CPL+Bluetooth bundle

      • Does the hardwired kit need to be from Viofo brand or any other/generic kit may do?

        • Any generic should do

        • Maybe. As long as the wire is thick enough. DC suffers from significant voltage drop. I tried using dashcam wires in the past from other cameras and they had stability issues

  • hey gang dumb question do any of the non display viofo dash cams have app access?

    • Viofo has its own app for wifi-enabled dashcams but it's connection is not rock solid.

    • +1

I have the A139 Pro, it's got no display but works great with the app since it's the primary way of setting it up and accessing videos outside of taking the memory card out.
5ghz wifi means I can watch and download clips to my phone pretty quickly. Never had an issue with it.

      • great stuff thank you, I am leaning towards the A139 Pro 2 channel, most likely 4k, just awaiting a deal (hopefully this weekend)

  • Any deals on Viofo A139 Pro 4K HDR 2CH and reviews pls

    Received mine today, so quick!

    • Geez, was your shipped from China cause that's quick

    • Hope mine gets here this week….

Guys, the same is in amazon for 152.xx, you can pair this with 6% off Amazon gift card will come down to 143.82. plus cashreward from Amazon

  • I just purchased the A229 Plus (dual camera) of Viofo.com after waiting for aliexpress black friday sales, which failed for me because my order kept being closed due to 'security risk'. It kept saying the order might got though if I remove the dicount code..what a load of rubbish. Anyway I think it might have only saved an extra $12 so not the end of the world.

Not really a deal consider A119s non mini was $120 delivered before

  • The one in aliexpress seems to be cheaper: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33030968874.html

    • From Jollibot's comment above: A119 V3 has a worse image sensor - Mini 2 is the latest Starvis 2 - no WiFi/app function, no included GPS logger, and a buffered parking mode.

      • Oh no I already pulled the trigger :(

  • Coupon no longest exists at checkout - price at $175.99. Anyone else getting this?

    • +1

Working for me, it even brings it down to $148.90 so cheaper than when I bought one

      • Confirmed still working - I must've done something wrong! Thanks for confirming Rodger.

  • For those looking for a MicroSD recommended by VIOFO, this is on sale now https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B09X7CRKRZ?th=1

    • Good deal, I paid the same amount for a Samsung Pro Endurance last week. Will see how it goes, not recommended by Viofo.

  • Anyone apart from gembel received theirs yet? I was hoping mine would arrive this week. That's looking unlikely now…

    • Yes received Tuesday afternoon in vic

    • Nope, but I bought a different one during black Friday sales so will be selling mine as soon as I receive it lol.

      • Coming from a blackvue dr590 I don't know how I feel about the Viofo.. don't like all the noise it makes when I turn the car on, enter parking mode, exit parking mode etc.

Anyone know if you can turn most of these sounds off? I want to know it does turn on but don't want to be bombarded with voice

        • Yeah in the settings

    • Mines been "out for delivery" twice, both on Saturdays and no delivery… Once was one and half weeks ago, and it's still not here

      • which delivery provider?

        • +1

4PX, it arrived on Monday after being set as "Onboard for delivery" on Saturday

          • @Jasonissm: Mine was also 4PX, after two failed attempts at delivery. I gave instructions via Viofo's Whatsapp chat to have Authority To Leave (ATL) at my front door. It finally arrived after 3 weeks of being in Sydney.

            • @baka1: What is Viofo whatsapp chat number? I tried to call 4px numbers but they seem tall be fake numbers…

              • +1

                @Calvinx: +86 181 2363 1217

Although they are based in China, they are very responsive and fluent in English.

  • Mine hasn't arrived yet. Tracking supposedly says it took 4 days to reach vic then spent the past 11 days in a warehouse. Last 4 tracking updates has been the same "prepare for transportation" at the same time across different days. The updates seem fake, just hope my package actually arrives

    • Phew, thank god I paid a bit more and bought my A229 Plus from VIOFO Australia. Ordered on Saturday and received it 5 days later, despite it being in backorder.

      • Was your packaged shipped from china or australia? I assumed both websites were the same.

I seem to be an outlier though, no one else seems to be complaining about delayed delivery

        • From Melbourne.

  • Got mine today!

  • This is taking forever and I need it asap, I check tracking everyday and it's just stuck in prepare for transport for 3 weeks now.

I should've just ate the $20 extra and got on Amazon back then tbh. If it doesn't come this week I might just buy something else as it looks like its lost in transport.

    • Same experience with me. I wonder what's the issue

AU / Loading completed, sent to transit center
