And I'm saying the actual full price is $799 so the true saving is higher than just $50. That's a good thing!
Is the model good for pets hair?
i have the v8 not sure 2023 or 2022 model. cant comment on dog hair as my dog doesnt shed his hair but my missus shred a lots, the floor head is really good in picking up the long hair without tangling the flood head. i have used other brands previously and only dyson has better suction and detangling floor head.
What are the differences between the two models?
Why do Dyson name all their models after car engines? V8, V6, V10 etc.

If you purchase directly through the Dyson website you get 3 bonus accessories. It's $444 there but was able to get them to price match through their live chat.

just contacted their rep, refused price match.
I tried to price match with Dyson and they agreed but not providing additional accessories. They deliver as same as JB Hi-Fi accessories. I declined to buy.

i have a personal rule to avoid buying direct from manufacturers websites. I keep hearing nightmware stories on whirlpool and reddit about problems with trying to claim warranty. Would have been much better to go through a local store!

I've got a V8 that's probably about 10 years old and the motor is starting to die, don't spose anyone here can confirm whether my accessories would work with the newer models?
And apart from the attachments there's no difference between the V8 and V8 Absolute, right? Like I've already got the Absolute attachments so I just need the regular body?
Normally $799 for V8 so I think the $449 is just a sale price at JB. AKA …. bigger saving ☺️
