I hate that. I have some pretty darn expensive socks from a Dutch brand and they only just fit my smallish feet. If the socks were any bigger I couldn't wear them.
Also, description sucks. You can not make out if it is a light summer sock, aero sock, thick sock, what materials are used… I guess, buy at your own risk if you have an average size foot.
Hopefully they read these comments and update their descriptions?

I'm a road cyclist and swear by Swiftwick cycling socks. So comfortable albeit not cheap @ $35 a pair … however my feet value comfort.
