  • Can both the Aldi and JB versions be used for Netflix in HD?

    • +1

As an owner of Tab M10 Plus 3rd Gen from JB i can answer YES for Netflix in 1080p. Not sure about the Aldi one since its using a different chipset but in theory yes???

Disney plus seems to be limited to 720p though, not sure if this is normal or not since i dont have another tablet to compare to.

      • Hm interesting, thanks for the feedback

      • Can you recommend it overall? Is it nice and snappy?

        • +2

I guess it depends where you are coming from.
Since my phone chipset is still faster than the SD680 chipset in this M10 plus so the tablet felt slower.

Lenovo's Android 13 update also made its UI navigation even slower that a lot of people are complaining about it on reddit. (need to turn off the blur effect on the android developer setting so that its faster)

The positive of this tablet is the screen quality. If you put in under the standard-warm setting then its quite comparable to the standard ipad accuracy.
Negative is the low/middle end chipset coupled with Lenovo being not that good with optimising their Android package.

I believe this is still a good multimedia tablet with its good display but most likely not suited for heavy gaming or heavy multitasking activity.

There is another deal on aliexpress for the Xiaoxin PRO model that has higher spec if you want better performance

  • Is the Lenovo P11 2nd gen any good?

  • Does this tablet (Lenovo Tab M10 Plus 3rd Gen Bundle 10.61" (4GB / 64GB)) have feature which auto wake up when you walk up to it?

  • +1
  • Both the JB & OW tablets have the same model number - ZAAE0002AU
Can anyone see any difference or should I just jump onto OW deal?

    • I can't find stock anywhere near me for OW. Check that first.

      • Went jbhi price match with $10 jbhifi newsletter and hagling price down to $117. Very fast unit, only complaint is it has only 2 speakers compared to some tablets which has 4, very fast and nice for multitasking, also works with high end gaming no frame rate drops, feels close to iPad pro quality and durability, abit plastic but acceptble, maximum size mini SD slot can be 128GB but 1TB if converted

    • It's same model jbhfi plenty stock, ow is a nightmare if you want to race around, jbhifi might take away since they take their time getting confirmation to price match but still faster than chassing ow.

      • @DEvok Does this tablet (Lenovo Tab M10 Plus 3rd Gen Bundle 10.61" (4GB / 64GB)) have feature which auto wake up when you walk up to it?

  • Does the lenovo allow for simcard to use as cellular as well as wifi?

  • Just went online to try and pricematch with Amazon…

I'm number 262 in the queue!
