Get free DashPass (for DoorDash) for up to 1 year with an active Amazon Canada Prime membership at C$9.99 per month.
A similar deal using the 1-month Prime membership free trial was previously posted here. The issue was that once you cancelled the free trial, your DashPass would also be removed.
The hack here is to continually cancel your paid prime membership near the end of the month for a full refund, and sign up again using the same account. I've done this twice already and has worked each time. You just need to make sure that you don't use any of your Prime CA benefits like Video/Delivery (I can still use my AU Prime benefits linked to the same account).
To get your membership fee back you just need to go through the cancellation process, and on the last step you select "End Now -> Your Prime benefits will end immediately and you will be refunded $11.49 for the remaining period of your membership." Be sure to do this as late as possible because as soon as you do this your DashPass will be removed right away. After this, just go through the promo link and sign up for prime again.
Another benefit of using this is that it seems you'll be given the Canadian version of DashPass which gives you a lower $15 minimum spend (down from $20) for free delivery, and also gives you 50% off the service fee (12% -> 6%).
