I don't think many people could pick the difference at all between these and the 6xx.
Mind you, I paid the same for the 6xx, but for 330$ is a no brainer. Hopefully they'd turn up quicker from Sennheiser AU but agree it's still a pretty good deal compare to $600 rrp.
Very similar and they are more similar than different. You could EQ them both exactly the same with Peace APO AutoEQ.
Yeah the difference is a mere 2-3db of midbass. It certainly makes more sense to buy 6XX if it's cheaper.
