Free 3 Months Amazon Prime or $15 Amazon Gift Card for World, World Elite & Commbank @ MasterCard

31717

Discovered this deal via the Skip app, although you don’t have to be a Skip custom at all to redeem it. Applies only to Mastercard customers.

If you don’t have an Amazon Prime account, you’ll receive 3 months free - otherwise if you log in with an existing account, you receive a $15 credit to your Amazon account:

Edit: this is another way to get to the same promotion, though the link in the deal is more direct.

  • worked for me, now can i cancel immediately and keep my 3 months or do i cancel it before the 3rd month expires?

  • +1

I put in my card, says already used. Put in my second card holder, worked.

Linked to amazon account, says it's already used. Linked to other amazon account, works fine.

    Thanks OP.

Also for the people in this thread reporting they got $15……………. I wonder why so many people have Prime. In australia, it doesn't seem overly useful.

    • I got 12 months free Prime with Optus signup 1.5 years ago. Now I pay monthly and share it with family & Friends.
They share back their Netflix, Stan, Binge, Disney and Paramount with me, so I'm getting a good deal only paying for one (I think the cheapest).
The free Prime delivery is good (as long as the courier actually reads my office opening hours for delivery) and there are some good shows on there to watch such as 'The Boys'. There are also a bunch of free bonuses from Prime Gaming and there is Amazon Music (which I havn't used).

    • +3

Why Prime is useful in Australia… It's what… $79 a year now, there's a tonne of free music, games, and a lot of amazing original content on Prime to watch as well as the added bonus of free shipping with no minimum spend from Amazon AU and UK or US via AU. It's worth it just for that. Watch The Boys, Gen V, Invincible and loads of other popular movies and series.

Other streaming platforms could cost as much as $79 a month. It's well worth it. And no, I don't work for Amazon!

  • Very easily done. Thanks 😊

Keeps saying something went wrong for me. Have tried 2 cards.

    • +2

      same here

    • Same. Tried on Edge and got that message. Tried on 3 Mastercards from Commbank.

Tried again on Chrome only to get the message "you've already claimed one".

Kind of a hit and miss I see.

    • Those who are getting something went wrong, do you already have an amazon account and trying to create a new one for this deal?

      • +1

no, i dont even get to the amazon stage. When I put card details in it just gives the something went wrong error

"An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again later. If this continues, please reach out to us via the "Contact Us" details at the bottom of this page."

    • I got the same message

  • +1

Awesome thanks man, worked fine with bankwest debit mastercard

  • +1

Any way to make it choose the $15 credit? I don't want the Amazon Prime membership, even though it's prompting me to.

    • +1

From memory you can subscribe first for a month, claim $15 credit then cancel your subscription. Should be a full refund if you didn't use Prime at all. If you still have a free trial you might wait until that ends

  • Thanks OP, it worked!

  • Got the $15 credit. Thanks OP!

  • To whom having problems with error.
I tried Safari first and had an error. so I changed to Google Chrome and worked.

  • Sorry, you have exceeded the maximum quantity of 1 allowed for this product

  • got the 15$ credit, wtf does it have negative votes?

    • +1

Because plenty of ppl are trying with multiple cards and browsers and getting an error

  • I got the $15 gift card in my Amazon account but no activation code! Anyone else have this problem?

  • Buy prime for $10, then redeem the $15 wallet credits, easy

  • Despite using new card did not work because I have enjoyed this offer years ago

  • Thanks OP. Worked a charm

  • Keep getting a "something went wrong" message for my Coles MasterCard.

Tried on Safari and then on Chrome

Got successful notification on mobile, took me to another screen to add my mastercard to amazon (on mobile browser) and the next screen gave me an error. Retried again in desktop browser and now i get the error about this only being redeemable 1 time :(

I tried with a commonwealth debit card and getting an error message. Anyone have any luck with Comm card?

  • -5

Yeah giving my credit card details to an unknown website?
    No thanks

    • Not really unknown website, it points to mastercard website. If you don't trust them, who else you trust?

      • -4

It's elevate.MasterCard.com and they aren't just asking for the last x digits but the whole shebang.
Maybe I'm a little more cautious than you though.

        • -1

Do you ever do online shopping? Must suck putting your card details in when you're this "cautious".
Perhaps it's not caution but paranoia? Maybe a hint of idiocy? Its a subdomain of mastercard.com… it's 100% safe.

  • No luck. Then I have ajteadg used my card previously for similar promo.

  • Thanks! Membership had lapsed, just got a free 3 months!

Getting error on Westpac Altitude Mastercard

  • I got the $15 credit… thanks OP!

  • Thanks OP, just received the $15 gift card as I'm an existing member.

Didn’t work for me using a Citi premier or cba debit card

  • I probably already redeemed this before:

This account is not eligible for this offer.
This benefit was used by this account previously. Contact Amazon Customer Service if you have questions about this transaction.

  • Got the credit. Thanks OP!

  • It’s work for me. Thanks

  • +1

T&Cs says it ends after 15,000 redemptions or 11:59PM on 21/11/23
for those wondering I was able to change my default method after adding it and it hasn't affected my prime membership

  • Worked for me. Thank you for posting the deal.

  • +1

doesn't work on 2 bankwest qantas cards, commbank debit card

  • If you’re on a trial does it just add 3 more months to your trial?

  • +1

Doesn't work for westpac altitude mastercard or even for westpac debit mastercard. "Something went wrong
An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again later. If this continues, please reach out to us via the "Contact Us" details at the bottom of this page." message

  • +1

Tried two different Mastercards but both are just giving me the message that others are getting:
"An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again later. If this continues, please reach out to us via the "Contact Us" details at the bottom of this page."

  • back to prime, baby, yahooo
op is champion, thank you !

  • +1

Didn't work for me either. Same error message as some of the people here.

  • I got the error, but I sent them an email. They replied me today with a link that links to amazon. I logged in my existing account and add the mastercard as the default method and got $15. https://i.imgur.com/ALf4j1h.png

    • Who did you email? I'm having same issues.

      • Contact Us
        1800718194
        [email protected]

        • Did you give them your card number in the email? Doesnt seem like a safe approach though.

          • @truetypezk: Nope. They will send you a link that takes you to amazon.

            • +1

@arst: So they basically gave you an activation link without asking for any proof of Mastercard ownership? Interesting.

The link you get from the website requires you to use the exact same card on Amazon website to get the benefits. You can't use another mastercard, even with the same BIN.

    • How long did it take for them to reply?

  • Worked

  • After so many tries, finally worked. But why they gave me 3 months prime membership instead of $15🤔, as an existing customer?

    • Was your prime already expired?

      • Yes. I canceled it about 2 months ago. So they see me as a new member, though it's under an existing account?

        • The 3 months offer is the default unless you have current subscription already. They haven't given the option to choose in similar deals last year.

          • @Paul B: Thank you for the clarification. No complaints, need membership for Black Friday and Xmas anyway, lol

  • Where I click on 'redeem now' in the following link: https://skip.com.au/promotions

It takes me to a page with the name 'Elevate - product': https://elevate.mastercard.com/benefit/product/168644/amazon…

In this page, I get the following message "Thank you for your interest in this benefit. The benefit period has ended. Please exit this page."

Then I scroll up and it seems like there is a section to fill out card details but it's all greyed out. They're not editable fields.
