slate steel colour a little bit cheaper for anyone who doesn't mind the different watch face and band.

    https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/garmin-epix-gen-2-sports-… $696.

    • Less durability too btw

Also missing multi band GPS and, I think, pre-loaded maps, in addition to the sapphire glass and titanium housing.

Still a hell of a lot of smart watch for the price.

It's the same watch, just without sapphire glass and titanium housing. Internals identical.

    They are likely matching Kogan

  • Ooh nice feels but after sapphire version. Thanks for sharing op

    • The white titanium version is also on sale at various places for $850. JB, TGG, HN, Iconic, etc. lots of places you can get discounted gift vouchers for, which brings it down to roughly $810.

      • gotta hit up that 15% off gc deal then. Thanks for the reminder!

      This is sapphire?

This is Sapphire Edition… OPs title could be clearer but.

      • Oh I’m blind lol. this deals is way sexier now haha

  • This or Apple Watch Ultra 2?

    • +4

Depends what you’re after. Jk this

  • Eligible for change of mind returns until Jan 31, 2024. buy now think later.

  • Sigh, bought the white sapphire version on Saturday for $780. Would have preferred the black.

    • Return it and reorder.

      • Bought on eBay, just sent a request if I can cancel and reorder. See how we go.

I won't be disappointed with the white, it still looks good. But I'm used to black watches.

    • Its still a good looking watch, and a really good price. GL with ebay - the big sellers are usually pretty good… that said, some of them post stuff damn quick too

    • Same. I don't dislike the white, I just know it will not age as well and it will stand out with lots of outfits 🤷🏼‍♀️ Possibly a black band is enough…

Fingers crossed the pro comes down this week. The torchlight makes me want that as I know I'd regret not having one

    • +2

I’m also in for the pro.

    • Me too..

Sapphire version is available for $1564 on Amazon

Thanks OP, got JBHIFI to price match.

    Cracker price.

  • I returned my slate steel, luckily unopened. Got this Price matched at jbhifi to use gift cards.
    It's a beautiful watch!

    • How long do jb hold the price match for? Guess you waiting for the TCN cards?

      • I'm not sure. I used my gift cards I saved up from previous deals

  • God, this is above my budget buts very very tempting. MY initial budget was ~$400 but it seems like its only the epix or fenix that has all the features I want.

How long would a watch like this last? Never had a smart watch before. Like will it still be usable in 5 years time?

Im worried the software will become buggy and begin lagging

I'm still on my Fenix 6 and still see no reason to upgrade. They last many generations. Probably a 5 year investment before you upgrade due to improved technology.

Im worried the software will become buggy and begin lagging

Like all devices that get updates. They begin to lag but will offer improvements and additional features. You can just turn off update and keep it base.

  • Does anyone know if jb could track if I returned a newly purchased one that I found cheaper through myer cashback?
I already opened the one I got from jb.

  • Nice! Was going to get the JB hi-fi non-saphire version but after some pretty significant research I combined this with the $30 shopback deal and got it for $769.

The improved glass and extra onboard memory is easily worth the $70.
