So you dropped a few thousand on a new television why not get a quality bracket.

I liked the build quality look on the Heavy Duty Bracket for $130.40

Looks like they are discounting their Sonos Brackets & Stands
30% off their JBL Stage Series

Selby have great mounts. Installed plenty of the full motion mounts including the slim: https://www.selby.com.au/bracket-finder/37-60in-slimline-ful… top quality.

    • i got this model too, can recommend

  • MountingDream on Amazon is like 1/4-1/3 of these prices and has done the job perfectly for me… Don't see the point in spending more money than you need to on metal + bolts.

    • To be fair your company has the same equivalent product on special at $110, I think $20 extra is a decent difference for quality.

Not my company. You don't need mounts that fancy imo. The $50 or $60 ones are fine

EDIT: See your point though. If comparing like to like and only a $20 difference it's probably worth it

    https://www.selby.com.au/bracket-finder/42in-70in-plasma-wal…

One of the reviews says it can’t hold the 85”, has anyone here tried it with their tv?

    • Not gonna lie it made me nervous, also the url hasn't been updated and still says 70inch lol.

I think once you get to 45kg things are gonna start to sag at full extension, so don't let your kid hang off it.

    • Seeing as that was the only problem review, would think it was user error. Have mounted a 85" X90K on a similar mount (https://www.selby.com.au/bracket-finder/32-60-bracket-to-wal…) rated for 80kg with the TV weighing 46kg without stand. YMMV but I mainly go by the weight it can handle rather than screen dimensions for both TV mounts and computer monitor arms.

Would just ensure your mount is screwed into wall studs and that the four mounting holes on the TV are within the ranges they specify.

  • Curious but has anyone mounted an Apple Display (Studio or XDR) on one of these mounts before?

  • The 11.5cm minimum offset from the wall on their full-motion arm is a little high compared to offerings from JB and Kogan that go down to 7cm. The Selby one definitely has a higher weight capacity though.
