If your PC case has 2.5cm of space on the side where the power supply cables extend the Rm850x Shift @ $169 is the better buy with PCI-e 5.0
Rm850x 2021 has a little better performance but annoying in cable capacitors as well as being thicker cables
Not sure if I'm reading it right but the PSU tier list has this listed as a Tier A (gold) PSU as well.
I'm looking at reviews…. the Rm850x is a little more efficient vs the Rm850x Shift.. Both are good

My 2018 version is super quiet, and works fine with RTX4090.
Rm850x Shift is cheaper $169 ($159 with Zip), so if your case can use that, you might want to consider that instead - ATX 3.0 PCIe 5.0 support (though technically, it doesn't wire / support all 16 pins). $159 matches the previous best deal from Scorptec.
