thanks got one of these to try out

      • the tuff lite is like a cut throat razor - scary. Hollow ground, very thin behind the edge. I've used it to shave around wounds (mtb); I really have to focus, these things just want to cut. Fairly soft steel though. The rest of the knife is very tough, grippy. Not a good winter knife because the back lock is pretty stiff; almost impossible with cold fingers.

  • Will I get in trouble with the authorities if I was caught in public with this thing in my pocket?

I have one in my car because I eat lots of apples and they must be sliced.
Otherwise, yes, if you don't have a legitimate reason for having it, they'll ping you.

Always carry an apple with you when you're planning on carrying this with you. Got it!

Doesn't that rather depend on the state in which you live?
