        • Thats fair when stacking. Not seen that.

  • It might be a good idea to put in the description what these things actually are, I had no idea…

      grab the Kenwood DMX7522s. direct fit. Just need to buy the Toyota to Iso and Iso to Kenwood 16 pin adapters.

      Pioneer is my default choice for low-mid-higher end HU's.
      If you are planning a full redo and wanting to spend bigger money (assuming not for a Prius) then it all depends.
      For a run of the mill swap out - I'd go Pioneer. :)

  • How long is the sale?

  • Most of their advertised RRP are way inflated. I was checking their JBL Amps and speakers. Bankstowns advertised $499 RRP, on the JBL site shows $349 and their sale price is $329 and show huge discount.
    There were a small number of head units and a couple Amps that are decent prices, but not much other.
    The ones that stand out are the Kenwood head units.
    Don't get me wrong, Shaun and team have good customer service, but these over inflated sales RRP prices should be illegal.

    • Interesting.
      The numbers i was seeing on the handful of items i checked were all inline.
      It quiet possible a few have been varied on the datafeed's supplied, older RRP's, or simple errors, but I can't imagine the guys inflating to simply be misleading…

      Not sure as I've not (and cant be bothered to be honest) checking anymore. ha! So I'll leave that with you if you like. :)

      Either way, as you mentioned, there is some good savings there…

    • Thanks man! Appreciate the love! In the interest of keeping our reputation ;) let me explain the JBL MSRP differences. We are one of only a handful of authorised dealers of JBL Audio here in Aus. There are A LOT of grey imported JBL products. About 90% of the JBL GTO range that we have at the moment is exclusive to us (no one else has it authorised, not even JBL Australia) and our stated MSRP is based off our information when the product was available to the market. We always have our price beat guarantee on all products :)

      As for the rest of our products and MSRP's, they're all 100% spot on with the suppliers information and we're currently the hottest pricing in the market and plan to stay there.

      • Hi Shaun,
        I have a 2009 Corolla hatch (base model) and am looking for:
        * Head unit
        * Apple and Android Auto
        * Good quality external microphone
        * Any additional items I need to install it
        My biggest concerns are quality of audio on phone calls and a responsive screen for maps
        Budget - under $750 if possible please
        Thank you.
