I'd rather the extended warranty and a physical store to handle my warranty support, over saving about $100
Are there any difference between the Roborock Q and S series?
I think the biggest difference is Q has spinning mops, S has a vibrating pad.
Q Series has a rotary mopping system. Its also a tier lower than the S series. S series gets better obstacle avoidance. I have the Q Revo and prefer the rotary mops. If you are a slob and leave things around the ground that the vac could get stuck in, Get the S8
I think this is a really nice deal. Less than $1,400 with pretty much all functions is hard to miss…

Any recommendations for a robovac between $200-300! Just need a basic one for the in-laws. They're getting old :(

From my understanding no built-in water tank so has to go back and get the pads wet when mopping.
It does have the extending mop pads to clean right up to the edges though.
Q Revo sold out at Kogan.
Price matched to $1499 (Amazon) at JB Hifi. Loving the unit so far.
Bummer. I suppose you can buy it with discounted gift cards and still get a bit of a discount. Either way, still worth it to me at $1594. I've compared this to every other robo in this price bracket. Next step up is forking out for a S8 Pro Ultra :(

For anyone interested, I went to JB Hi-Fi and was asking the differences between models knowing I wanted the Q Revo. The sales person said she might also be able to do a better price on the advertised $1594. I said if you can get it to start with a $14xx I'll buy it now and she came back with $1412. Worth a try if anyone has missed out on other deals. They also had no stock in store and are ordering it in which can take up to 4-weeks.
Edit: I also used the 3% ShopBack gift card in store to bring it down further.
