    I highly recommend you go to your nearest JBHIFI and look at them side by side.
    The TCL C845 looks incredible. Not just for the price, genuinely incredible.
    My local JB has the 65” TCL C845 right next to the LG C3 and I was very impressed by both TVs.

      Oled aren't as impressive in store as they don't shine (pardon the pun) in the brightly lit store environment.

      I guess if you have a brighter room the C845 might be a better option.

        what you have a standard room with 2 windows on each wall (the windows can also be darken with curtains open or closed)
        and watch TV during the day and night?

  Thanks both. So the C845 performs better in brighter rooms and the C3 in darker rooms? Do they both perform okay vice versa? Around $1000 difference, just trying to work out which one to go. The less money spent would be ideal.

    If money wasn't an issue then C3 oled everytime - but seems like it is a factor.

    What's your use case though?

      Use case is TV in lounge room, open plan with kitchen and dining room. Windows and doors so can be bright but can also be darkened. Use TV to watch FTA and streaming.

        The OLED will be absolutely fine in a relatively bright room and looks absolutely incredible when it's dark. I've never had a problem watching stuff on my oled with windows open. They easily get bright enough.

  Hi all I'm looking to get a TV for my living room - one that does well in brightly lit rooms/sun shining in. My main use is just for content viewing (movies, TV etc.). I've read that the colours are good for this, wondering if anyone had comments on its brightness? Thanks in advance!

  I'm going to order the 55" of this soon, but I was also going to get an Atmos enabled soundbar. TGG doesn't have any on their ebay store to go with this code. I was looking on their site and JB Hifi and it seems there's a TCL 3.1.2 soundbar for $400

  Anyone had any experience with this unit?

  We already have this 2.1 Samsung unit that I purchased almost a decade ago, but I figure if you're upgrading the TV, might as well do sound at the same time.
