I nearly bought one of these as the reviews are very good. The issue I have with 4 individual wireless speakers is around reliability. When one of these speakers has an issue outside of warranty then you essentially have to chuck the whole system out. If it was like Sonos and you could buy individual speakers then it might have more appeal, to me anyway…

I took the plunge. Have had good experiences with Sony refurbished. Wish me luck with WIFI

  Got it a few days ago. Had all been re packaged but looked all brand new. No marks etc.
  
  Had a few drop out issues but a simple repositioning of speakers and my router seems to have fixed it.
  
  Loving it so far.
  Definitely needs the sub. Hoping one pops up on the eBay refurb sale tomorrow.

      It did come in box but had been re sealed. Components and cables also not packed very well, so by my assumption had been re packaged.
      
      Some slight scuffs on remote also

bought a ht a7000 during refurb deal on ebay for $750.. good stuff no complain so far.
