Aerobie 13" Pro Rings - $17 Delivered @ Newitts

160

Lost my 2nd one this year to the sea yesterday and I refuse to pay another $40 at Rebel/Amart Allsports.

Wouldn't bother with the 10" rings by the way. They don't fly anywhere near the same distance as the 13" and have a tendency to veer off course…. either that or its my throwing.

EDIT: 13" NOW SOLD OUT @ NEWITTS & Previous ebay seller listed as alternative option has now put his price up 3 times in a day. (Ezarc) has found a new ebay seller also based in USA selling for around the same price. Thanks

  • Nice.
For the Ultimate disc, you seem to get a pound off when selecting Australian delivery.

    10 pound ~ $15 delivered.

  • I bought a set off eBay about two months ago. Around $15 for the Pro. But for only a few bucks more ($26 shipped) you can get the Pro, Sprint and Orbitter… Now that's a bargain!

Seller still has them in stock (10000greatdeals).

    • would be a pretty good deal if the sprint or orbiter worked ok ;) orbiter never returns and the sprint doesn't go very far.

Thanks. Just bought a 13" aerobie pro.

    Another day, another ozbargain purchase.

Ive lost countless over the years.

I wonder if there is an island full of washed up aerobies……..

    Thanks OP

    • hahaha, just wish they would make them so they float. Nearly got pulled out in a rip yesterday trying to retrieve mine.

Ha - I wouldn't mind paying for delivery if I knew they threw/flew them from England to my house - that would be worth paying for!

Anyone reading this that hasn't experienced the pure pleasure of throwing one of these things around with your buddies is missing out. BUY ONE!

    • absolutely! its about the only exercise that I actually enjoy. The only problem is the better you become, the less calories you burn..

  • Do you have to be in a massive park to use the 13" ring? I was going to get the 10", but read that it isn't much better than a normal Frisbee.

    • Depends how hard you throw it, its quite easy to throw a couple of hundred metres dependent on weather conditions, in which case you need a decent size area to unleash its full potential, but if you just want a bit of a play around, a fairly small park will do.

I prefer the beach as you can dive for the catches without getting getting injured. Only problem is, its best to wait for the tide tide to be out or you risk the chance of losing it to the sea.

10" is alright for the kids, would not choose it over the 13"

Take a look at this for an idea. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSvT87OaYf8

  • Ordered. Thanks - nice one!

13" now ozbargained…. 28 sold. Who was the person who bought 7 at once?

Just found some from a USA based ebay seller for about the same price here - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/AEROBIE-PRO-LARGE-13-FLYING-RING-…

    • Thanks, got one from this ebay seller (has orange, yellow & pink listed) - was $16.48 :)

      • Thanks…would have missed out…

        • Thanks op. Didn't know anything about these until your post but they look like a lot of fun. Had to buy off ebay missed this deal.

  • Never heard of these things before but I'm glad I read this deal. Thanks OP, I will likely get one soon. Pity they don't come in a bundle with the Aerobie Aeropress :)

  • Just got the one from the ebay seller thanks gooddealmate. Bet the seller is scratching his head trying to work out what's going on.

  • I contacted Newitts and they replied to confirm that they will not restock the 13 inchers. I know there are alternatives, this was just for info.

  • Take note that the reference in the above deal to "available for same price here" from eBay is not true now. The seller had a large number of sales today so he upped the price from $10.49 to $12.49 and then later on to $13.49. I'm going to wait till his demand dies down and he puts the price back.

And now it's $14.49! Anyone would think that Lifestyle Fitness was running that eBay account! I'll buy elsewhere.

      • Have changed the link, annoys me that, money grabbing bar stewards.

          Actually, to be fair …..

I emailed the seller with the link to this thread so he could see where all the sudden activity came from. He replied today that he couldn't work out what caused the rush of orders and he kept putting up the price to try to stop people ordering. He sold 4 boxes of them and was running out. He has a same day shipping guarantee and so was packing and shipping until 4am :)

His price will return to normal in a few days when he gets more in. OzBargained!

    • Argh…ordered from other ebay link…there goes $1.40…heeh :D

    • Thanks for the post - One Aerobie purchased - after one lost — MANY YEARS AGO at sea……

    • Want it so bad but can't justify getting one until I use (lose) all the free promotional frisbees I've acquired :(

      • +1

Really? I can't imagine that any free promotion frisbee is even in the same league as these things.
